reminds me of my Dad. He'd bend or modify a tool to make a special tool to hard to get spots and things like that. Thanks for reminding me of him. Hey I'll tell you a cool tool is accupuncture needles. yes. You can get them from a 3D printer supply vendor. We use them to clean stopped up printer nozzles. They are long and springy.
Thank you thank you. I pulled the carb off of mine a few days ago and cleaned it out good but the problem remained. After I watched your video I realized I missed unclogging thetiny pilot holes in the body itself.
Hello from Nebraska. I just bought a husqvarna YTH 1942 rider with a Briggs & Stratton 19HP engine. Just bought the damn mower yesterday 5/21/23 and it's surging at full throttle but still runs. Doesn't die. Mows great at least. I didn't have any unleaded ethanol free gas yesterday so I just filled it with unleaded ethanol gas at least for the first mowing. Why the hell would it be surging? When I loaded it on the trailer yesterday 5/21/23 to bring it home, it had a small amount of gas. My guess the store maybe added some? If they did maybe it's possible their gas might have been older gas? I can't really pinpoint for sure on that. Any help anyone can give I appreciate it. I really don't want to have to dismantle another carb.
Didn’t work and when a passage gets clogged the size of an angel hair you can’t run something threw a plugged hole . Now running seafoam periodically can prevent this for sure
Very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for your help

Thanks .. great info
what rpm should the48xd be running at, mine is 3800 but still boggs down on think grass,
If it bogs down in grass make sure the jet in main area is clear. Bogging under load is typically lean situation

I really don't want to have to dismantle another carb.
Try draining carb by removing fuel solenoid on bottom and see what comes out first. Could be some water in carb
I would be calling them.
Maybe run a seafoam type product first before knuckle busting, might get lucky
