Excellent commentary to describe precisely what to do to achieve the stated objective. I followed easily, step by step and managed do create my desired outcomes. Am absolutely delighted!! I tried two other you tube video's before I came across yours. The quality of your exceeded the others by a long shot! Thank you.
I'm trying to print a picture on a full sheet of paper. I tried some other suggestions, but none of them worked. Yours did! Thank you very much for putting out this necessary information and in easy to follow instructions. It was very helpful in completing my project.
You saved. My sanity. Thank you so much, Chester, for helping me remove the dreaded 'white line' that appears below or above the 'full page image' if you skip the Align Objects option. I publish my books by formatting them in Word, so this has been super helpful!
This is the best explanation and demonstration I have found! Many thanks for making it simple. I tried other websites that wanted me to subscribe for a fee in order to access their info. I am very happy to have found this.
Been trying to do this for months. Finally found this video. Thank you for this, it worked for my book formatting. You made it easy for me to figure out. Now i'm motivated again thanks to you
Just a quick addition to your valuable video which helped me resolve my issue quickly - and it's that users may need to correct the colour/gradients of their images once they have placed them in the header of their documents. Thank you
I followed all the steps you mentioned before coming here to have an image cover the entire page and the steps don't work. In the Word program it appears the image covers the page but when you go to print, it gives a print preview with large white borders around the outer edges of the image. I got rid of header and footer, no margins, my image is sized to 8.5" x 11" and still the problem with the large white borders persist. Any suggestions, since MS doesn't answer this question when asked on their site. Thanks.
You’ll need to take it to a print shop in order to have the image print to the edge. All at home printers will do this. You need what’s called a bleed on the doc.
You have got all my respect dear sir. Thank you for teaching me this i have been struggling for more than 2 weeks. Sir how can i fit the whole word page if the picture is half of the page without dragging???????
So I managed to replicate this with the free version (website) By making margins 0 and using some of the steps like unticking aspect ratio and wrap text Although am not sure if the image is altered or not (it probably is)
Thank you so much for this. I have been using Adobe for almost 30 years, and I just absolutely hate Word. It is the most unintuitive program on the planet.
How do you set it so it doesn't click on it and move? This worked grear for me to put my proposal form on but if i accidentally click on the page it moves it off of being centered. Is there a way to save this so that i can pull this up and fill in the blanks on my document without worrying about clicking the document and moving it off of being centered?
Hi Chester. Greetings from the UK. Any chance you could you do a video or explain before my head explodes how to create a drop down menu within a cell that has lets say different measurements of a bit of rope, 1 meter, 2 meter , 3 meter, 4 meter for example. Once I pick the required size (2 meter) I then need the costing to automatically change in another cell. This cell will then tally up with other costings. Thank you.
I followed all instructions to the letter but making some mistake when putting n the page size measurements. I am using 8.5x11 inch paper , using 27.9 cm for height and 21.5 cm for width - the page is just way too big. I did uncheck the aspect ratio prior to putting in measurements. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
