Yeah Original Sin was a 'fake' all-female band, it was basically just Virgin Steele but instead of David DeFeis on vocals it was his sister Danae. Great record! especially the opening song 'Conjuration of the Watcher' which was also later recorded by Virgin Steele, so you can compare and contrast both versions.

Any devils ever heard of Imperial Triumphant? Saw them last night because my wife really likes the local band that was opening. Imperial Triumphant were talented musicians, but definitely not my bag. Sounded like some jazzy hipster wankery. Anyone else ever heard them, am I missing why they’re popular?
I like them. But, I realize they are not everybody's drink of choice. Same with Portal and Ulcerate.
@@hamachancutter I do like bands like Ulcerate and Portal in smaller doses. Respect the musicianship for sure. With IT, it just seemed like it was mostly jazz/avant-garde stuff, and not much actual metal. I turned to my wife at one point and said “where’s the riiiifffsss, brah brah???” 😆

Probably the first interview I didn't care for. No, nothing to do with her being a female. No problem there. But the moment I heard "safe space," I thought of my days in college when hordes of far-left lunatics would bitch and moan about "the patriarchy," trying to get certain professors fired for nonsensical reasons, etc... Unfortunately, that mentality has spread throughout the metal scene quite a bit. Especially here in New England, at least.
