I've heard that time moves at different rates depending on where you are on the planet, for example, it's said that time moves so slow in atmora, that there's been a battle raging for thousands of years, and you can still see the warriors, mid swing. I don't know much more than that, but it seemed like an interesting topic if you could find the knowledge on it.
@@ImperialKnowledge I promised I'd watch all your vids. I've been busy these past few years. But I've gotten around to rewatching all your videos in a marathon over the past few weeks. You are a star in the elder scrolls community.

If you're asking for questions, I have a few. If Magnus is so powerful, then why is he not recognised as a god by the cult of the Nine Divines, and what distinguishes the Aedra from the Magna-Ge? Also, what is the distinction between the Ehlnofey that became the ancestors of men and mer on the one hand, and those that seemingly perished to become the Earthbones on the other? How do the Argonians and the Hist fit into all of this?
Aedrea translates to Our Ancestors in all Elven Languages, and are the ones who created Mundus and the races. Magnus is technically way more powerful than the Nine divines since he left, and the Magna-Ge are those who left the plane of mundus meaning they too are more powerful than the nine divines when they returned to Atherius. He might not be recognized since mortals may see him as a coward or some other reason, it was never specified
I agree with the idea of Ancestor moth video. It's kind of funny that a series so heavy on lore is lacking lore about the elderscrolls themselves. We only get vague ideas of creation and purpose, they are everywhere and nowhere type of lore. As far as a video on the empire. Which one are we talking? Like, the empire with the tsaesci emperor? I'm game.
Yes, I maybe could. I had another request to do a video about elder scrolls themselves, I guess I can include the moth priests in that. The video on the Empire I will also do some time maybe, but then it will most likely be a timeline series from the first empire to the third, Since that would be an awful lot of work I will do it when I have a lot of spare time (Which I currently don't have ahaha). But I think it is a very good Idea
So it sounds like Magnus is like the god of the afterlife plus a god on Nirn since a part of him stayed there. He clearly got out with the more of his power intact then the other Magna Ge. He should be the main power in Aetherius making him part of multiple planes their. He also gets regular worship and in this universe that seems to bolster Gods powers. I feel like Magnus and the Magna Ge stories could have been better. Magnus should still be extremely powerful since he is basically magic itself has his own plane or multiple planes in Aetherius. He also gets worship and escaped early. Sure he must have lost a chunk of himself in Nirn but if anything that should give him more of a direct connection with Nirn. I just find it odd how he is portrayed pretty much like the aedra even though he didn't fully sacrifice himself to make Nirn. You think he would more like the daedra in the way that they can directly speak or affect things on Nirn. Sure this is all just fluff and doesn't matter but it feels like Magnus and the Magna Ge whole story is they escaped and made holes in the sky end of story.
Actually magnus might not be the main power in Aetherius now that i think about it there at least two other people that should have power there to. Talos and Vivec should have power there since they achieved Chim. Talos at least for sure has power their. Who am i kidding trying to make sense of this. what a clusterfuck of lore.
Bill Fred Chim is like nuclear weaponry, it's immensely powerful but rarely used. Talos and Vivec can't do such a dramatic act such as creating a plane outside of Mundus, such an act would wake the godhead and end the universe they live in.
I remember one time when I was playing skyrim, while i was finishing up the main quest for the college of winterhold, I accidentally did some kind of glitch and got two staffs of Magnus.
i just realized in the dragon born song there was one verse that translated to "with the power to rivel the sun" so does that mean that the dragon born had or has the power to rivel magnus and other thing the prophecy of the Dragon born says "when the brass tower walks and the white tower falls" alduwin will awake and so would a Dragon born does that mean wherever in whatever plain the giant dwemer robot was taken to when the dwemer were on the morrowinds volcano it's alive and function and if so that could be a really awesome plot to the next elderscrolles game in 2019
idk about the first one but its saying when the brass tower walks (i.e. daggerfell) and then a little after oblivion (the thalmor taking over) is the start pf the prohpecy, once alduin came it was the end

I can only highly reccommend to completely ignore "C0DA", it ruins the lore of the whole Elder Scrolls universe, also its not a single bit cannon since its basicly a Fanfiction by an former Bethesda employee.
C0DA essentially tries to teach what Bethesda only reinforces from a gameplay perspective and the capability of modding: we are in charge of creating our own canon. While the games do have a core canon, we are free to create mini dragon breaks of our own via our playstyle and mods because TES is all about freedom and about our own imaginations.

I know you'll probably never see this.... But I'm SO curious what the "Eye of Magnus" does exactly. What IS the danger the Augur of Dunlain and the Psijic Monk mention?

Tarlo The Boar Zenithar is the God of commerce. I think you meant to say Julianos the God of magic and logic/learning. In that case I would still say no.
The Eye of Magnus might have nothing to do with Magnus at all, according to obscure texts in game and written by producers of the game itself the Eye of Magnus may actually come from a mer dominated alternate timeline set in the 9th era, and may have eventually either supplanted, or possessed Queen Ayleen of the Aldemeri Dominion. That'd be a fun video.
The same Timeline Pelinal is from? Maybe the Eye is something of immense Magicka power the Mer made, and Magnus got a hold of it, somehow, and used it as a cool tool to use?
