It continues to waste the battery's power
If the robot reaches the stopping point, then the motor turns off, so little power will be used.

I have an assignement for my I.T. class in school, that requires to create a prototype of an autonomic robot that displays advertisements. So I found this video and decided to build my prototype based on this guide. The only thing that bothers me are the people in the comments, who say that the motors are not working. My suspicion is that they simply forgot to install the AdaFruit Motor Driver library, because I don't feel like the problem is in the assemblage. Please share any of your thoughts about this problem, thanks!
It's not perfect, I know, but it's working. It depends on several factors, such as the battery you are using, motor speed, and the need for a perfect wheel. The IR sensor needs to be properly calibrated. If you are familiar with Arduino, you can make it work. For newbies, it's a good project for learning and debugging.

hey, The voltage required for IR sensor is around 3.3v to 5 v .
Tip: Use lithium Ion battery for motor driver.
In 3:38 where we attach that echo and trig bin you only said about 5v and gnd

It's for detecting light brightness. For example, if the IR sensor is on the black track, then less light will be visible for the IR sensor. So 350 is a threshold value for the IR sensor to make an action.

No, I have created the same project by using l298n motor driver on my second channel.
Can i connect 12v 2.5 amp lithium ion battery pack directly to the motor driver,and replace the gear motor with 775dc motor
I don't think so it can handle that much current. The motor driver started heating and shut down automatically or damage after some time. I'm not sure about that, Let me know if you tried it.

I'm not sure about current because in datasheet I'm not able to find current max values.
@@MrProjectsoPedia if its possible can you please make an video (or article that includes circuit diagram and arduino codes) about same robot by replacing the motor driver with l298n motor driver. Because as far as my knowledge this L298n motor driver is more efficient than l293d.
And also l298 motor driver can be used for large power efficient robotic projects

If I want to make the car follow white line , what I should do?
You can do that but make sure the surface need to be black and you can add white line on it. In the code where if statement defines, you need to change the 0 into 1 and 1 into 0. It will work.

It will work but not Perfectly because Black is said to be perfect absorber and white is to be said perfect reflector. The reflection will be different for other colors.
