The ABC affiliate in my hometown had a weatherman named Alan Rayne.Carlin performed at our local college once.Shortly after,he started doing Al Sleet,I wonder if he was inspired by Alan Rayne to use that name.
@@robertelder300 Yes that essentially it. Roughly something like: "Well lets look at the radar for the weather. We can see a high pressure showing thunderstorms coming in from the east, ... but the radar is also picking up a bunch of Russian ICBMs, so... I wouldn't sweat the thunderstorms." 🤣🤣🤣
