Saw them last night in Bucharest, great concert, appreciative and friendly crowd. Nick Mason said that it's taken 56 years of touring to get to Romania, yeah that's about as long as I've been following Pink Floyd.
Cannot wait to see Nick and Friends play this Friday night. Live at The Royal Oak Theatre Detroit. I missed out on three Floyd tours, seeing and hearing Nick play will be a true treat...
Fantastic to see Nick Mason's Pink Floyd at my local venue the Fairfield Halls Croydon on the last leg of the British Tour I got tickets back in November for my man Drew's birthday and my good friend's Bruno from Paris and Rob from Cumbria stayed with me and came to celebrate at the concert I have seen Pink Floyd twice before at Wembley Stadium and Knebworth but this is the only time I have heard Echoes performsd live absolutely brilliant performance 😀 thank you x
Great performance. Echoes is such a tremendous song. Glad Nick and his mates are giving it some time in the sun. I won’t have the chance to catch one of their shows this time around but it makes me happy just knowing that they’re happening.
Just saw Him and the guys few hours ago and they did not disappoint, Proud to see such an Awesome group of guys get together with Nick and play these damn classic hits to perfection
Can't wait to see them in Manchester on 6th May. Been looking forward to it for two years! The only sad thing is I was going with my sister, but she passed away suddenly in January so I may shed a tear or two.
I went to Münster concert last month with my mate. Tickets for the Netherlands were sold out so we had to go to Germany, but that was absolutely worth the 160km drive. What an amazing night! The last 30 minutes the crowd got off their seats we all just couldn’t sit anymore. Nick also telling us a few stories in between the songs they played, had a good laugh as well. Impressive that he can handle this amazingly well at the age of 78! The rest of the saucerful men, Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken, ofc all legends in their own names. Delivering the amazing sound of Pink Floyd. Thank you all, it was a night to never forget!
Saw them in Italy and I’ll see them again this summer. I was speechless at the end of the concert. Superb playing, superb acoustic, superb songs. After Springsteen probably the best concert I have ever seen.
Echoes ?! 2022 ?!!! rock on Nick ! they've really beefed up the presentation...I never dreamed I'd see the waves motif back on the bass drums and now the scenery, and Crystal Voyager back on the screens ! ...thx very much for posting.
Just saw Roger in Glendale last week, it was amazing. I never thought I’d get the chance to see any of them live in my lifetime. Now Infind out Nick’s coming to Phx this coming 22nd! I need to go man, no matter what it takes.
It’s great to see the two guys who do the podcast Rockonteurs finally play. They’ve been say for a while we tour soon. Gary and Guy are great interviewers and have some great people on including Nick. They both have some amazing CV’s when it comes to musicians. Thanks for sharing this .
Haber filmado la canción completa habrá significado perderte muchos detalles, por eso quiero agradecerte en nombre de todos por este sacrificio y por esta maravillosa versión que podemos ver.
I watched the show in Berlin. I was sitting in the stands with my arms on the railing in front of me and drinking a gin tonic. I really enjoyed my favorite PF song.
I can only pray they do this in Philadelphia in September. I was luck enough to see Floyd (without Waters) in 1987 open with Echoes. I'm still speechless.
I seem to remember seeing something after Rick's passing to the effect that no one from Floyd would be playing Echoes anymore. I thought to myself, that seems daft; by that reasoning we would never hear music again by anyone no longer with us. So, most gratifying to hear the Saucerful lads keeping the music going! IN FINE FASHION!
@@ovemunk I recall when he said that, shortly after Rick's passing... Personally, I dont blame him. Echoes was more than just a song for those two... it was a bond that they shared. Dom Bekken worked with Rick so he has a good working knowledge of the song. Same voices, no. Well done ... very much so. I traveled from the US to Northern Ireland just to hear them do Echoes.
I'm going to have to see Nick at the Beacon Theater this year I think. How else could you listen to early Pink Floyd live besides Roger Waters or David Gilmour? Nick is the only member of Pink Floyd to play on every single album! That's saying something!
Well, obviously, this has been filmed from the auditory - correct me, if I´m wrong - and, to be honest, all this filming has made it hard for me to enjoy rock shows, over the last years. I´ve paid to see a light show, not to have a dozen smartphone screens around and above me, spoiling a light show. Isn´t it kind of presumptuous, that people, standing in front of me, force me to watch a live show i´ve paid for, through their smartphone screens? So, please, keep your smartphones in your pocket. Keep the music unique. Enjoy the moment, let the music freely pass through your mind. That´s the essence of live music - not making it your "prey", to be "possessed" and then shown off to the world. Didn´t intend to offend anyone, thanks for understanding my point.
Yes , it was filmed from the auditorium, but I was seated in guest-list seats and never lifted my smartphone above ny head, as I also find it annoying when all you can see are a lot of smartphones and cannot see the stage itself. I was also respectful of the band, asking permission to record some videos, and made sure that my flash/light was switched off during filming. When I film clips from concerts I usually make sure that I am right at the front (or front row balcony/box), ask permission from security/band/band managers and I tend to rest my camera/smartphone on the barrier. so that a) it doesn't block anyone's view and enjoyment of the concert and b) I can steady my smartpnone/camera so that the picture isn't constantly moving about. I most certainly wouldn't have lifted my smartphone up to record this...it is over 20 minutes long and that would most ceratinly be disrespectful to others if all they could see was my phone. Unfortunately, in this age we are getting more and more recordings on smartphones, and some artists/musicians encourage it themselves for more promotion and exposure. The key is giving respect to the band/musicians and the audience/fans too :)
Will I get shouted at if I say I dont like it ?...just being honest...I really wanted to but Im just too attached to PF and cant break that from my thoughts, it might just be me.... because I love Queen but hate Queen with Adam Lambert.
Go on... anything else? I'm also one of those nuts who think PF are in the club. Love the band though there are all sorts of red flags: G8, Dark Side Of The Moon, Gilmour's charities, Waters' politicizing, etc The Wall which is pretty darn masonic with the bricks and all. I also do not believe that Syd went insane. Maybe he just got out when he saw what he was getting into.
Would be fun to see but it's also sad watching Nick barely even attempt to play his parts. Maybe he's suffering from physical limitations these days? It just seems to me that he forgot how he even played half these songs. I've never seen him play echoes on hi-hats and his signature bass drum and ride triplets are just gone.
This is wrong. This was David and Rick’s song. David wouldn’t play it without Rick, and it seems insensitive and wrong that the drummer should think it ok to play now. Sorry Nick, this is wrong.
@@kommissar.murphy Sure, but if you saw a band playing Kraftwerk and they were swinging their asses around and making rock n roll gestures, you'd probably say it wasn't a fit. Nick Mason has the right air: a cool detachment as if he was pruning his roses.

I love how Nick has no ego at all. Just a regular guy having fun playing music with his buddies.
As it should be.
Hard to have an ego when you're a drummer lol
There were allready two very strong egos in Pink Floyd -- so no place for another one! 😁
Just a regular guy with estimated £180m wealth :) But yes, he seems pretty humble.

Guy Pratt : bass guitar. Lee Harris : 2nd Lead guitar (not seen enough in this video).
If someone told me that Nick Mason and Tony Banks were brothers I would believe them. They both have that "old British rock star" thing happening.
Every upload from this tour is always Echoes. Reason please.
It is from the "Echoes" Tour. The first tour that Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets performed the song!
This is the only way to get Echoes nowadays, since Dave won't play it without Rick. Does Roger plays it on his shows?
i have not seen Roger perfom Echoes in any of his solo shows
Why not come to Strasbourg (France)? There is good vine and beautiful girls here! Come on Nick!
