AGT had been trying to get Angelina on their show for years, but she and her team wouldn't have anything to do with their restrictive contract.

“Some time passed and they again contacted me, asking if she wanted to sing on their show. I convinced them to give me a contract where Angelina is free from any deal if she performs, she is great for their TV show and Angelina will get the exposure she needs to breakthrough, because I knew, the talent is one of the kind like no other, I just needed her to be seen and was on a daily hunt for how to get the right spot for her in the USA.”
Angelina is the best singer I’ve ever heard. Period. You really don’t know yet how good she is, but you’ll find out quickly because she is completely addictive. She covers many genres, but gives us her version-paying respect to the original artists, but using her unique talents to make you remember hers. Those talents: incredible innate musicality, vocal flexibility you can’t imagine, a once in a lifetime voice, and the ability to interpret lyrics that goes straight to your soul. With minimal accompaniment, her voice is mesmerizing. I truly envy that you’ve just discovered her. I wish I could be as amazed as you will be in the next few weeks.
What to listen to next? It doesn’t matter. At 15 now, she’s the best singer in the world, but when you watch her at 7 or 9 or 11, her performances stand on their own. She was incredible at 7 channeling Billie Holiday, and she’s gotten better every year. Just look at her songs, pick something you like, and prepare to be helplessly addicted. (But I’ll throw in a suggestion anyway since you’re a Brit. Her next song on that AGT competition was Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road. It’s just stunning.)
Mr G, she has already touched your heart. How do I know that? Goosebumps, tearing up (with the urge to cry), and unable to string words together to make complete sentences right after she sings to you is the evidence. Mr G, millions of us around the world have gone through the same thing. And, what's amazing is we continue to react emotionally to her every time she sings "for us". The love in her heart is enormous and the purity of her soul is beyond comprehension.
Mr G I would gladly watch this again with you. I've seen this well over 1,000 times and when you started to react emotionally, holding back the tears, ALL OF US started tearing up with you because we are so happy when someone discovers her. She can actually change your life. She inspires us to be the best we can be and she wants people to begin to love one another. She believes it is the fist step which is necessary to begin to make the world a better place to live for everyone, particularly for those who have never felt true happiness in their lives. I believe you're starting to get the point. As marvelous as she as a one of a kind singer (one in a billion) she is equally as wonderful as a beautiful human being. There is no one like her in the world. Other fans (her "Angels") will flood you with playlists and tons of information about her personal life.

This is my all time favorite vocal performance and I am 62 years old. Angelina has become my all time favorite musical artist and it is not even a close contest. Angelina makes one believe that all the past greats got together in heaven and poured all of their talents into Angelina.
I along with other angels have been encouraging reactors to do a few simple steps to show love to the aspiring artists they react to. Posting links to the original video and to their official TH-cam channel(s) is recommended. Since few viewers read the description to the video, verbally suggesting viewers to watch the original video and subscribe to the artists' TH-cam channel is highly recommended. Most reactors have already embraced these recommendations and likely have gained more subscribers themselves by doing so.
I'm 59 and she's the greatest vocalist I have ever heard. No one has routinely pulled emotions out of me like she has.

Yes, I agree with you... there is no better singer in the world. There is no better interpreter of music in the world. There is no one who is more comfortable on a stage than Angelina (there is a reason for this and it moves the story to the spiritual side of life). She has impacted so many people with her talents and it is such a wonderful thing to behold.
Angelina wanted to impress Simon and got the highest praise from the legendary Queen. Queen are enthusiastic about Angelina's arrangement. Queen shared Angelina's performance on their official Twitter account with the words "WOW, what a rendition". 👏💯 *AJ* 💯👏
You still need to do I Put a Spell on You, Black and White version. Honestly, it’s amaze bollocks. It’s another that she arranged, and totally kills it……. And she’s only 9. Don’t expect it to be like these as she goes into beast mode

Great, thanks! The fourth judge, Heidi Klum, gave her the 'Golden Buzzer' which sent her to 'the Finals'. She had two more performances but didn't win - no singer did! There is another slower version that Queen allowed her the performance copyright to, it's on her official channel and probably Spotify. Quincy Jones said she's the best new talent since Michael Jackson. so you're assessment is spot on!
This was my first exposure to Angelina about 18 months ago.
It was "love at first listen" for me.
In all my 50+ years, I've NEVER heard (or felt) a voice like hers.
With over 200 videos and ~140 songs, the journey is long, but oh so rewarding.
I've watched just about every video and interview that is available.
The more you learn about this 15 year old prodigy, the more you will love her.
She's a gift to us. "Stay", and "I Keep Holding Out for You" are two of my favourites, but all her songs are absolutely wonderful.
I've probably seen this a thousand times (no kidding). And I still can't figure out how a 13-year-old could come up with such an arrangement of an iconic Queen song: a piano (hardly noticeable on the video) and a guitar, and an Angel(ic) voice. AMAZING! The first time I heard this rendition from Angelina, I started crying. Goosebumps and tears of joy that this unbelievable singer exist during my lifetime. To me she is already one of the all time greatest singers. If not the very best. I can't wait to see where she takes her talent from here. She's not even 16 yo yet.

Regarding your recent reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody Did you notice during her performance they highlighted audience members in the front row. That is Angelina's Family. From left to right Her uncle and manager Michael Astar, her little sister Juliet, her mother and her grandmother. Notice her little sister crossing her fingers as the performance starts and later her mother wipe tears from her eyes. Sounds like you have done some research because the Angelina fans have not found you yet. If they had, this reaction would have blown up with views, subscriptions and an inundation of comments giving you background, History and information. Be prepared, they will come. Also remember she said she had waited 10 years to sing for Simon. When she was 3 years old she was begging her mother to go on 'that Simon show'.

You pretty much nailed it with your comment, probably the greatest singer ever, which I believe all of Angelina's millions of fans would agree. First time I think I heard that from a reactor to Angelina, especially considering you have barely scratched the surface of this remarkable music genius, which go back to her performances on Norway Got Talent at 7-8 years old and even before that actually. You came across a singing, genius prodigy here and reacting to more of Angelina's vast portfolio of covers and originals can only grow your channel my friend. once you watch "Gloomy Sunday", Angelina's audition in "Norway's got Talent" you will understand that Angelina basically won the entire competition with that performance. :)
At 10 years old, she sang I'm Still Holding Out For You. It is a masterpiece, unmatched. Could be the best song, weight for age, of all time. You also have to check out her 1st masterpiece, age 9, I Put A Spell On You.

The black & white version of I Put A Spell On You is my favorite Angelina Jordan performance, bar none. I'm Still Holding Out For You is still great, though.

I totally agree with johnvasi, in my 68 years i have never experienced a person as talented or with such a beautiful and emotional voice as our dear barefoot princess, Angelina. Not only is she an outstanding singer, she is an outstanding human being.
This version is on Spotify as her newest releases under republic Records and other songs as well from when she was just a kid. She has almost 140,000 followers on Spotify.

She got the golden buzzer thing and went straight to the finals. But she never signed anything. So I guess she knew she could not win, even before the final. The song choice for the final tells it all.
You mean "Yellow Brick Road" for sure. The last song "Someone You Loved" had to be (unexpectedly) thoroughly discussed with the violin boy. Otherwise "Shield" would have been the best choice to show that fine originals from Angelina Jordan can be expected in the future.

Queen's Twitter page commented on Angelina's page giving her praise! She finished 6th and unfortunately we were not able to vote because the show aired months after filming it. It's not the same format as AGT.

Thank you. I first heard this on the original performance on AGT and I’ve been stunned ever since. I’ve heard a lot of her covers (she has over 130 on TH-cam) and all her originals, some of which she wrote and performed live at age 12, not counting her black and white version of “I Put a Spell on You” which she did at age 9. Highly recommended by everyone. Watching both her and her music grow since she was six years old has been a great journey which I’ve enjoyed for the past few years. Thank you again.

I remember Watching this show and I was taken away by Angelina Jordan voice and her arrangement and performance was unbelievable for a 13 yrs old girl. I was hooked , I had to hear her sing again and that was the start of my musical journey with this gift from heaven Angelina Jordan .

Queen liked it so much they gave her the rights to publish her version for sale and I got my copy on iTunes.
Her fans is called "Angels" and we are very protective of AJ. We are also very suportive for those that react to her (that you will notice). The Champions was recorded in less than a week at the tail end of October 2019, but not shown until early 2020. She was a sensation, over 10 million views in under a week (quite a few of them mine), Queen’s shoutout on their twitter account and a very controversial voting system (50 anonymus voters) which blew up in AGT’s face. But as her manager had negotiated a no-obligations contract, he, at least, knew she wouldn’t win.
Heidi Klum gave her the golden buzzer, and she went straight to the final. At some stage you should look at The Golden Brick Road .. gorgeous! Absolutely agree with you , she is the singers singer , the best on the scene right now in my opinion. This competition is not quite fair , if she had been put up against only other singers she would run away with the title. They include variety acts of all kinds in this competition. so this venue is not fair to the different types of talent. The categories should be competing in their own categories , for example , singers and magicians should not be competing with each other or acrobats or dancers etc.
Despite the effusive praise heaped on The Barefoot Princess by the judges of AGT, the GREATEST COMPLIMENT came from QUEEN . They posted on their official twitter account " Wow, what a performance" and even gave her permission to copywrite her version of the song!! Nobody does it better than Angelina , not only did she do a superb cover but this was her own arrangement.

you can watch it anytime you want .. on Angelina's page or on TH-cam in general there are thousands of reactor versions.
it's not the end .. I think you got AGTs version .. they cut out Heidi giving her the golden buzzer.
Also .. she didn't win .. she and her family chose not to sign Simon's contract as you're going into the finals, where you have to sign with one of Simon's records labels if you win. They made some kind of agreement for Angelina to sing again and she sang a third time, with what I personally think was their call for her to sing with two people who could win the show. One a young boy violinist and one a Russian sand painter who is amazing. In not sure who won .. but I believe it was the young violinist.
None of this was known at the time of the show .. it leaked out little by little after it was all over.
By the way .. she sang Elton John's Good bye Yellow Brick Road in the finals. Exquisite .. not to be missed.
I was smitten with her at this performance. This barefoot angel is a better singer than any female singer past, present, or future. She is also beautiful not only in looks, but her heart and caring about family, friends. and everything she believes in. There will never be another one to come along, in my lifetime that has affected me the way Angelina has. I can tell you were affected as well.

1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she owns the rights to everything she sings and with aquired permissions for covers of other singers.
2. She refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway.
3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music.

In the first 20 seconds or so she demonstrates that singing isn't all about belting and vocal range (which Angelina has in spades). Your reaction and the reaction of the judges and audience says it all. They were completely captivated and holding their breath (as I think we all were the first time we heard it). That was because of the way she was singing and the emotion she was putting into it. In my opinion nobody singing today expresses the emotion of the song in their voice better than Angelina. Calling what she does "singing" seems so insufficient. She takes you on an emotional journey with her voice. She has and is a tremendous gift!
After this performance, They told her if she didnt sign with Simon she would never win. She went on and performed like a trooper anyway and then signed with Republic Records.

Very good reaction I did enjoy it. She is called the barefoot princess for a reason. Her voice is absolutely out of this world especially at the age she’s at. But to be honest even if she was 30 or 40 years old she is absolutely one of the best singers out there now. Definitely have to go hear her at the age of nine the black-and-white version of a put a spell on you. Also research the reason she sings barefoot very heart warming reason.
