In a quarter mile I think the 765LT will just be able to put it’s power down better and be quicker but anything longer than that the P1 should regain the lead just because it has 903 horses vs 755.

The way the 765LT pulls away from the 720S is simply unreal, what an impressive car. Never would have thought a 720S could end up looking slow.....

This car is super fast i think probably the fastest supercar cause the 720s was the fastest supercar out there and to be able to destroy the 720s in search a huge margin this is serious news people. Waiting to see how the SF90 stradale does against it.

Looks like the boost hits earlier/harder and or better more sophisticated traction management. They seem to even out after a couple seconds.

Because even with the girl, it's still about the same weight as the 720S. And it has a lot more horsepower and torque, so it won't matter that much.

I am currently making a 7565LT GTR! Its gonna try and get a Stage 3 tune! And its gonna be honestly insane what power we are expecting!

Given this isn't the drag strip, it should be the ultimate race. The 765LT would most likely not record the 1/4 mile times you referenced on regular road surface. In fact, Brooks recorded 9.8-9.9s, on the road, in his friend's 765LT.

9.33 756LT vs 9.7 / 720S and 9.7 is on a good day , most days 9.9 to 10.3 ish , several zip codes apart !

McLaren are genuis'. The Senna is the best track car, the 720S over a half mile won't be beaten (the 765LT is fractionally behind), the 765LT is the 1/4 mile king (and more importantly consistent)... McLaren are engineering legends... and I've not even mentioned the legendary P1 and having been lucky enough to go and visit the manufacturing of the legendary F1, I know why. The environment isn't your regular garage, its white, no oil spills, precision craftmanship at its very best. The latest era of cars, possibly will cement their status as the greatest petrol performance car manufacturer of all time... only Ferrari and Lamborgini go for outright performance cars only (Porsche make 'affordable' cars as well), niche cars like Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani for me lovely, but legacy, pedigree, aren't really there for me. Yes Bugatti has history but massive gaps between 1930's and there modern times.

675LT is not quicker than 650S on a drag race (may be 1/3 car length?) And 600LT is not quicker than 570S on a straight line too, but this 765LT is that much quicker than the already super quick 720S? This thing gotta have 850HP or more!!

Because of the gearing I'm thinking a 1/2 mile race the 720 might just real the 765 in a bit. Also I think the 720 on a top speed run might edge out the 765. And not to digress the blonde looks to be more expensive to maintain and drive than either of those cars (-;
