You make a good point. Twice I missed out on a 100 to 1. (My two cards and dealer's up card) suited 6-7-8. From then on I place $5.00 on the sidebets and again won twice $500. The sidebet also pays lesser amounts for different configurations of my two cards and the dealer's ip card. It's too maddening when I don't place a sidebet and I would have won 50 to 1 or 199 to 1. It's my gambling money.
