A truly splendid collection 😍 a dream for most of us and you’re living it! How you actually manage to paint commissions as well as stuff for yourself is beyond me. And if you’re going to tell me that you have a regular job on top of that, my brain is just going to stop working.
I would be most unproductive in a space like that. I would constantly find myself transfixed, just stood in place, taking in all that golden age of GW goodness all around me.
Even though alot of this is before my time, Theres still so much stuff there that i recognise from my first years in the hobby that this is just nostalgia overload. It's also nice to realise that i wasent just imagining it and alot of old school paintjobs i seen in display cabs from that time were indeed noticibly neater than probally 98 percent of the stuff in cabinets and even in "display quality" pieces thesedays. A return to light primers and an obsession with neatness would do the whole hobby alot of good imo instead of semi encouraging mistakes as alot of guides seem to do now.. being midly cruel to be kind long run and all that.
@@powerwolf-vw8st this is my teens. Epic and Man O War were my first boxed sets, before I got 40K second edition even, so damn the nostalgia is strong.
Love to see it. I could spend an unholy amount of time in there just looking at everything and I’m sure it’s even cooler in person. A lot of little gems in there like those forest Goblins. Yeah man, Dwarfs need at least a full 2 shelves.. 😂
Awesome stuff. Love all the display cases, and boxes on the wall. Jealous of that Confrontation artwork over the window. What do you mean about it being difficult to get rid of things in Japan?
@@ktg8030 it can be difficult to find someone to take furniture and dump it for you here in Japan as they have pretty strict rules on garbage disposal here
@@thecrownofcommand5830 I recommend a good reciprocating saw with wood and metal blades. You slice that thing up in small pieces and throw it in the trash can. Thats what I do.
Dude the plastic is still on the Circle of Blood box?!? You aren't curious as to all the stuff inside? I would have had that plastic torn off the minute it came out of the shipping box lol
Take off the cover, pushpin the bottom section to the wall, put the cover back on the bottom. I’ve been putting lots of my empty boardgame boxes on the wall this way. Box art makes Great Wall decorations.
@@sumwon1575 thanks for your question. I paint full time as a commission painter these days so I don’t get to paint that much of my own models. Maybe between 5-10 models a month if I’m lucky. The other time is spent painting my clients orders.
Aw hell yeah, Confrontation! Rackham was so cool.
As a man of a certain age that is beyond gorgeous.... ❤

Awesome collection Josh its like practically an oldhammer museum!
Bloody hell mate, so much old gold 🤌🔥 great stuff
So much cool old classic GW stuff! Love all of the boxes on the wall. What a wonderful environment to paint in! I'd love to see some army showcases :)
Man this is all so gorgeous!!
Those aleph don’t look bad either 😉
I’m going have to dig through and watch all your studio videos.
Love seeing these Joshua! Looking forward to that long awaited Dwarf army showcase!
Beautiful collections!
If someone said "close your eyes and go to your happy place", I would be in that room
Inspirational mate!

It's great to see the Room of Wonders.
Beautiful epic and 4th ed. collection. If you ever come to Madrid I will be pleased to show you mine (mainly 3rd ed). Thanks for the video.
loved it mate, thanks for taking the time, those dwarves and orcs brought a huge nostalgic smile to my face.

@@MilPicJapan ah yes you must be either living here or know your way around a DIASO haha. Thanks for watching and commenting
Love the Kemmler Chariot…and food stain on Grom box is apt.
I've just seen a yt video of that World of Warhammer book and seeing it for the first time it does have that WHFB 4th edition feel to it !
Incredable
Awesome collection
Magnificent 😍
Nice!
amazing stuff man
10:36 That some epic paint job are they your golden daemon entries?
Good to see Groms box still has the curry stain on it! Probably would of been phall rather than vindaloo!
Thanks for another great video 😍😍😍 PS: Don't tell your wife yet, that some of the walls will have to be removed to enlargen your office.

How do you fix the boxes to the wall, out of interest?
