    It's always fun to see what tools and resources people use in their study time. In addition to the Cliff Notes from Faith, I also like The Bible Project's overview videos and The Bible Handbook from Daily Grace Co.

      I like the Bible Project too! I forget about them sometimes and then I’ll randomly go into the app and wonder why I don’t use it more often!

    I love the Mildliners and use them in my Bible to tie my notes and the verses together in my journaling Bible. They shadow lightly on the back of the page, but nothing distracting and no bleed through. I avoid the extremely dark colors, but I'm not a fan of those anyway. I use Micron 03 pens exclusively in my Bible because I can use the Mildliners over top of them without smearing. The Microns don't bleed (or shadow). I use scrapbook papers for extra notes, but only the flimsy paper - not cardstock - and only those that have blank sides. I glue my notes in with Gorilla glue. I use the JESUS Bible and take notes on almost every page and also glue in a lot. So far, my Bible is not bursting at the binder or fanned open. When it gets too large, it will be time for another Bible, I think! :) I loved your video - so interesting and you have a pleasant presentation style.

    Hi, I’m new to your channel and really enjoyed this video. I will check out some of your resources. Please tell me where you bought your stickers that are on your journal. I really like the idea of using the big sketchbook for a deep dive studies, books of the Bible or studies. I have seen those at Michael’s and I think I will buy one for when I do a deep steady in 2025. I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos

    Do you have all the books of the Bible that Amy Senter created? They are kind of pricey, but look to be worth it from the samples I see. Thank you for sharing about them.

    • @Searching4Faith
      @Searching4Faith  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I’ve only bought Acts, Ruth and Esther so far. They are pricey for all 66 books in the bundle, but she is taking off like over $100 from what you’d pay individually. But, yeah, for me I’ll just be buying them here and there as I feel led to. They’re only $4 a piece I think for 2 printables which is pretty reasonable for the research she puts in and drawing them all by hand.

    You print your printables at home? And if so what printer do you have?

    Hi Tracie! I just looked on Amy's website and some of her PDFs are $156! Wow!
    I was thinking about starting a Substack subscription and was trying to get ideas on price ranges. Do people really pay this much?

    • @Searching4Faith
      @Searching4Faith  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The $156 is for printables of every book of the Bible. And yes, I agree, the whole Bible is a lot of money. But, there are 66 books in the Bible and she is drawing each by hand. Most individual printables are about $4 for 2 pages, so about $2 per page, which I find extremely reasonable. So, as a bundle, she’s actually taking off over $150 from if you bought them individually. But, I don’t feel comfortable with that big of a purchase right now, so I’ll just be buying them individually here and there as I feel led. I’ve only bought 3 so far.
      I haven’t joined her printable club, but it’s only $15 a month, which for what she’s giving you also sounds reasonable for me. I haven’t joined because I already bought her “praying through scripture” printables and those are included in the monthly subscription. So, I don’t see the value in it for myself.
      I wish you the best with your plans. God bless! 😊

    Hi Tracy and everyone! I am a huge Bible nerd so I use some of the resources you mentioned and more. I like hard copy Commentaries so I have a few but I haven’t committed to commentaries on individual books of the Bible. I like the 2 volume set of The Wiersbe Bible Commentary and the 2 volume set of The IVP Bible Background Commentary. I also have Spurgeon’s Treasury of David that is great. Digitally I use Enduring Word and Bible Hub for commentaries among other great resources. I love Logos which has a free version but I bought their Bible study package which has a massive library of resources that I can’t possibly name them. It was well worth the purchase prices from a few years ago and I don’t have any other membership fees or costs. I have several Bible dictionaries and encyclopedias in my home library too. I haven’t found a book or Bible resource that I haven’t “needed” so I don’t shop often. I’d be in big trouble if I did. I just bought my very first interleaved Bible that I’m so excited about. I make my Bibles colorful and I mark them all up but I have 2 men that will inherit my stuff and I’ve been thinking they may not want any of my current Bibles so my plan is to write notes on the blank pages only and if all goes well, I buy a second one and leave them as legacy Bibles for my kids. (As long as I can keep my grubby hands off of my highlighters 😂) Thank you for sharing your supplies and I look forward to reading about everyone else’s!
