Definitely the best streamer making stationeers videos. Great work

Hey there, @27:34, to remove those few cables from the inside, put one running horizontal from inside to the outside, making a flat + shape (well above the left bottle filler will look like a 5 way junction) then use cutters to remove said junction, then replace with correct shape/orientation cable. also you can mount the portable scrubber to a tank connector, have a few pipes and valve hooked up to dump waste to outside(with vent) or storage if needed later?
Edit: the scrubber will take a tad longer (power switch flash yellow longer) to pressurize itself internally when mounted to tank connector.

Good tip on the cables thanks! We'll deal with the scrubber when we build the atmospherics system

Love the series. Back seating here but there is only so much pressure differential for iron windows before they blow out. You could either replace with the steel walls or set a back pressure regulator to vent out the excess.

I'll upgrade them soon enough, they won't pop for quite a while!

Can you put the vent from the furnace near the wind turbines for a small boost to power or would it even be worth it?
Glad I found your channel! Gonna have to binge your stuff for a while!

    • @LargelyUnemployed

As far as I know these turbines don't actually interact with "wind" yet - they just produce power at a semi-random rate over time (it seems to just be a sine-wave but I'm not 100% on that).
There's a separate block (I forget the name) that does work exactly like you describe though. You can line them up in a chimney to make a little bit of power. You're better off running your exhaust through a stirling engine. Those used to basically print energy. No idea if they're any good since the atmospherics overhaul

20:00 - ish... I could be mistaken, but if you have an improper reagent mix, you may not need a centrifuge to fix it. I THINK you can balance out the ratios.
So a 2 Iron/1 Coal reagent mix can be solved by adding 1 more iron.
... but also I could be wrong and/or that might have been a bug that got updated. Feel free to test.

    • @LargelyUnemployed
      @LargelyUnemployed  ปีที่แล้ว

Yup, you can definitely do that!
I didn't have any more iron on me at that moment 😄

8:13 I just learning the game myself so while I understand most of what you're doing, I do have a few questions... Those cases on the lander can be removed with a wrench. You could then carry them up to your base and print off some attachment points so they don't blow away in a storm. Is there a reason why you're continuing to commute down to the lander? Is it just lack of resources?

18:36 Probably should have vented the furnace first, lol. The CO2 and Pollutants inside are really good at absorbing heat, so it's really hard to get your heat up... Plus you risk everything esploding.

For me this ore scanner is not very useful. But it's not because some flaws of this tool itself but because of ores distribution (it's not the only issue related to that, by the way). It's because usually ores are mixed, different types in the same place. If I don't search for something specific then it's enough what I find without it and if I need specific ore, it is not helpful in this case. And I think it's totally obsolete after getting heavy drill. I just drill all around faster then use this damn thing.
