Yeah I think the tuning was a little off on the low end... Need to open up the idle screw a little I think... this was the first run after installing a new carburetor I'll get it worked out
@@SnookTuned I was advised the 1107 by a friend because I'm running an aftermarket pipe... I may try a 990 at some point just to see But this 1107 with a spiral diaphragm really made a difference on low to mid-range power
An 1107 might be a little to big for a 26.... That 1107 is a pretty big carb and it's possible that it's delivering too much fuel on top end. It could also just be your tuning. or even an air leak somewhere especially if you didn't get the carb bolts tight when you put on the new carb
to be completely honest with you I'm really not the right person to be asking for information because I'm not an expert on this myself but I know for a fact that wrong tuning or an air leak can certainly cause your truck to run bad that's the first two things I would look at

Truck is sick! You started this build out with a regular rovan Baja 5b?

Yep the yellow 30.5...still a 30.5 just has a pipe carburetor and 10K clutch... Other than that it's just cosmetics
Still bone stock internals lol

I may have also forgot to pump the primer bulb 😂
Imo 990s work better on the 30.5's. really wakes them up
