Started with $16,856 starting 2023. I am down to $3,850.
This month I’ve paid off $87.50 total.
I am waiting for one medical debt to get back to me with my total, after billing insurance…
My IRS bill isn’t going down because they put on interest 😒 I didn’t know they could do that …
Thinking of doing the avalanche method because IRS is my only debt with interest. The other ones are medical, and interest free.

Well done! Also remember your credit debt is still accruing interest each month till you pay it off so remember that in your calculations. P.s. once debt is paid off, u only need one credit card for everything. Unbelievable but yes. Do research on closing credit cards. There is a methods to follow. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations!!! It’s an amazing feeling huh? One tip, make sure you visit each one to make sure all the interest was paid for the statement cycle. They try to get you later sometimes since the statement balance may differ from the account balance. Once again - congrats. Can’t wait until my last one is done. $7k paid off and still going. Btw….. your score will differ too depending on which bureau it’s coming from. Your actual FICO will be closer to the Experian Score.

Amazing Bestie! Yes, you are right...I was just responding to another Bestie and she was telling me the same thing...Sure enough Apple came back like, chilllle here goes another $50 you owe us for the interest.....I'm like...Wow, and it is due this month...These companies are something else...I'm thinking....I just paid my bill in full, how come this is not due in November...😜 Whatever...Imma pay them 😆 Thank you for giving me insight on the FICO score..I will go with Experian...

One is a vantage score which is an old model and is usually higher. Experian is a FICO which is what All lenders use and the FICO is usually much much lower than vantage. I would also close the low card if you have cc with higher limits as it really isnt doing anything except helping with age of credit history. I closed my lowest secured cc which was $300. It only dropped my score 1 point.

So I guess I have paid off a bill $783 in September. October, I’m using snowball method and handling some small things $300 and under. This month has been wild for me. I had $16,500 in credit card debt that I have had for about four years and, after trading in my car, and getting something cheaper (I put the equity into my credit card), and this being a three paycheck month for me, after todays payment of $1500, my credit card is now at $3500!
