Update: Got the link the next day on the 5th. Now waiting to hear back from background and do the assessment. Update 2: Got the call and email for AA scheduled for 4/2 today on 3/30. Update 3: Passed the AA today 4/2 and did fingerprints and photo. Was handed the medical packet now waiting continue with that. Update 4: Got invitation email for medical on 4/3. Went online through the email link to schedule for 4/5 (today) but didn't hear anything back so I called the next day on 4/4 and reached someone to schedule it for 4/11 instead. Update 5: Did medical evaluation today on 4/11 eye, drug, hearing, and physical. Clinic says I passed it all. Now waiting to see what’s next from TSA. Update 6: Had to appeal vision test today 4/17. Update 7: Passed vision appeal today 4/19. Now waiting for background to clear. Also noticed TSA onboarding page isn't up anymore.

@@crazyhawk201ad The listing i applied for was full time.. Keep in mind that while the one you applied for is part time… a full time slot may open. But once in, you have more options. You may apply to another agency. Also consider that TSA got one of the largest pay increases last year that will put its TSO salaries on par with other agencies. Depending on the airport location, the cost of living varies and salaries may differ some. As for pensions, if you’re a veteran, like myself, TSA being a federal agency, can bridge my time toward that pension. I hope this helps. Good luck with your decision.
@@crazyhawk201ad The hack is to transfer once you have the ability to. TSA is probably the perfect federal job to start since other positions on USAJOBS are highly competitive & just relying on pure luck to get a phone call. Hi Amani!! Thank you so much for the video! Your video was the only accurate video - none of the other ones are good, maybe because they are older. I just wish I had seen it before I went in for the test. In fact I didn't do any preparation at all. I started watching the videos after I came back from the testing center. So, same story here, that last 3rd part (2D/3D part) I also didn't do well on. I think I misunderstood the instructions too, or read it wrong. I actually took the time on each one and giving each number an assigned letter. And, it felt like I took forever, then realizing that I have very little time left - I didn't get to complete all the questions. I don't know what to think. I so hoped for this job. The 7 days of waiting is a bit stressful. Based on some of the comments, I see that you did get the job, that's awesome! Can you please share your timeline, what happened and how long it took to get the job? Thank you again for your video. Very helpful!!

Hey! Sorry for the late update. I did end up passing the test and it took them 2 days to get back to me. As a disclaimer, the test had nothing to do with whatever I studied; instead, it’s literally an IQ test. The process has actually been moving faster than I initially expected. There was my background check, face-to-face interview, then the medical evaluation. It’s currently Oct. 6, 2024 and I’m waiting to be called for training. Best of luck to everyone🙏🏾

But in short, in case you didn’t, there are absolutely nothing you can do to prepare unless You are familiar with an IQ test, you can go ahead and take a few to familiarize yourself with it. In short, you either have it or you don’t. I hope this helps!

I know it sounds bazar and I questioned it myself, but I came across a video from the previous tests that showed imaging of all kinds of banned items from odd angles or that was taken apart that was slipped through and never got noticed. So in my humble OCD opinion, lol, being able to recognize shapes if they’re taken apart and then put it together in your head would have a huge impact on our nation’s security
@@catpes9670 The first part, is clicking like A=1 B=2, etc easy. You have to do it ASAP. The matching was the 2nd part which was really easy. Make sure to click as much as possible since the more you do, the better chances to pass. It gives you an example before you actually start. Overall test took 20 min.

I just received an email today saying that I passed mine, thanks for the video. The last part of the Exam was challenging. Do you know what’s the next step?
I just took the test this morning (Feb 21, 2024) and I too was wondering what the heck is going on as I studied all that additional information that wasnt on the test. The instructions said it would take 2 hours to do the test and when I finished the test in about 30 minutes, I was like "what the hell"? The overall test was easy but that 2D / 3D portion is a bit difficult and I dont think studying is going to matter on that part of the test because unless you have the exact same object on the test, I just dont see how studying for the 2D / 3D is going to matter? I just did the best that I could do on that part of the test as the first two parts are extremely easy. If TSA is going to disqualify individuals from offering them a job soley because you didnt do well on that 2D / 3D portion of the test, they are going to have a very difficult time filling those vacant positions. You simply cant determine if an individual is going to be good at a job by an idiotic 2D / 3D test....I have heard that if you are a veteran, your 10 point preference you receive will go a long way for you getting hired like it does applying for a job at the post office.
@MemuduMariam The 2D / 3D test is not hard, it just takes time to figure it out and the time goes fast. I just took it this morning and If I'm not mistaken, it's 20 minutes long. Each time you answer a question it will give you a percentage of how much you have completed. I was 68% done at the end of my 20 minutes. You don't need to worry about the first two parts of the test, that's very easy, just work as fast as you can and you should complete the first two sections in plenty of time. You can practice that 2D / 3D on your own, but I don't think it's going to matter because you are going to have different problems on the test so just do your best....As I mentioned before, if TSA is going to disqualify a person and not hire them for not doing well on that silly 2D / 3D section of the test, they are going to have a very difficult time filling those employment slot. A simple test does not define a person's inner ability to work a job.

@IvansRevenge Yeah, I'm not sure it's worth the wait. 🤔 It's part-time, and the pay isn't great. 💸 Also, I'm not entirely sure how good the retirement plan is. 🧐 #jobsearch #parttime #lowpay
@@crazyhawk201ad The listing i applied for was full time.. And I spoke to HR person yesterday, and she advised me what the annual salary would be, NOT including night differential.. is 46k.. so close to 49. Also depends on the state..
@@crazyhawk201adwhich state/airport and how much do they start at if you don’t mind me asking.
@@crazyhawk201ad The hack is to transfer once you have the ability to. TSA is probably the perfect federal job to start since other positions on USAJOBS are highly competitive & just relying on pure luck to get a phone call. Work for TSA, transfer out to another agency & just keep growing that career until you feel stable & have that federal job where you can retire comfortably. It's a lot of legwork for sure but that's the catch.

Hello
I’m going to be writing my exam in next fee weeks how can i get to learn orgami folding, connecting the dots, match shapes , 2d to 3d conversion can recommend any youtube videos for of something I’m panicking right now
Take an IQ test. Trust me, it’s all in there.
Best of luck!
Omg I have my test tomorrow. I’m so nervous!
How did you do?

Update

Hello would u please help me where to study about English grammar and xray recognition test? My exam are coming closer so I’m little scared cos I want to pass
There is no xray on the test
I posted the video to confirm the rumors about changing the test completely. I hope you’re still going through with the process, and that you have had the test and passed by now! But in short, in case you didn’t, there are absolutely nothing you can do to prepare unless You are familiar with an IQ test, you can go ahead and take a few to familiarize yourself with it. In short, you either have it or you don’t.
I hope this helps!
Now I am nervous only because I am a everyday weed smoker, what is the drug screening process like?

Question guys so I got my onboarding and completed everything there before there but did not say that I was in the selective service will I not be allowed to do this job due to this? The reason in not allowed to be in the selective service is due to me having diabetes.
Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back after submitting the e86? I submitted mine in mid January and have not heard back yet.

You should get something in the email that has a link that should mention online assessment then it will be NBIS
I just got my test today march 2024 and 2d to 3d completly ridiculous.my question to tsa
How does 2d to 3d assesment will improve transportation security on airports? I google, ask alexa, ask google and has no answer.that section make non sence at all for me.i past everything except 2d3d.i just learn something new today,if you wanna do security you most know how fold letters on the computer😂😂😂 crazy.

Please how was the 2d/3d like
How many minutes for 2d /3d part and how many questions
