There more to X-ray than what is described in my video but this should help you understand what your looking at so you can feel more confident and potentially pass the X-ray test.

I picked to test tomorrow to get it over with and kinda changed my mind after I saw the x-Ray test might not be as easy as I thought but you can’t cancel less than 48 before the test lol😂😢 But if it’s anything like your experience, I should be straight.

Some of the pictures you could clearly see the item but a good portion of them are very difficult to pick out, mind you you only had 10 seconds to choose. I hate how bad a lot of the images were. I guessed on majority of the test because it was just impossible to make out some of the images. I am still surprised I passed
Wow I just passed my TSA CBT test and it wasn’t that bad TBH. I studied as best I could and it payed off. They sent me a contingency offer based on if I pass a drug test and background check.

Failed my CBT today unfortunately. The XRay section was really difficult for me. Also only getting 15 seconds to look at the photo didn’t help. Received an email right after finishing the exam stating I failed. Watched this video before and also looked at some review questions. Just had a really hard time with the XRay part
I dont think the xray should be part of an entry test. Its ridiculous. Reading xrays should be part of training if you get hired. Most people have never looked at xrays before🤷♂️

Hi, just some feedback- your video was helpful. I took the TSA exam once and i drew blanks. Beings that I took this exam before and images that you are showing is from some odd years back.. its a refresher, but also informative to what objects actually are. I went into the exam blind sided when I first took it and now Im like why the heck did i not see this when I took the exam a few years back. Also, thank you for sharing a website with us so that we can study or try to obtain more information. Its rough knowing that this exam is for people who are not accustomed i guess for a lack of better words for this exam and knowing what to expect when we will be taught this information anyways. I guess nothing worth having will come easy. THANK YOU

I watched this video 2 hours before I had to commute out to take the test. Ngl the x ray part was extremely difficult and I was winging it. I somehow passed it and I'm not sure if it's because I got lucky or the English portion carried me.

@@erised-san The English part has 3 sections in it all multiple choice and you have an hour to complete it all with the option to go back and change your answers before the hour is up: First section is choose the synonym of a word The next section were each question you're given a paragraph and a question pertaining to each paragraph The last section had a sentence for each question and you had to choose from multiple choice if the sentence has an error between 3 different types of errors or no error at all The x-ray section involved being shown 6 shapes pertaining to a certain object to memorize for 60 seconds and you have to try to find them for like... 12 (I think? apologies but I don't remember for sure since I've been busy the last few days so apologies on some details being foggy) pictures of baggage and you have 15 seconds to answer if it's in that image of not. This gets repeated again for like around 40 minutes depending how quick you answer each question on the x ray portion
Thank you for the info just took my test and I guess it's different in every state because there was NO xray portion on the test ... there was a 2d-3d that was 20 minutes long and it was pretty confusing no math what's so ever it's was only 3 portions the first 2 were super easy but the last (2d and 3d) got me waiting on the results 🤞🏼
dear friend, I'm getting certified for ENAC, and I've just started X-rays for a week, I still have a lot of difficulty recognizing the I.E.D. and especially when turning over the baggage for a second screening. I will have the exam in a month and I would like to get there managing to understand an effective methodology. what can you advise me?

My daughter and I are flying in a few days and I have a prescribed medication in pill form that comes in a fairly large white plastic bottle. If I put that in my carry on bag will TSA take it out and look at it? My daughter doesn't know about this medicine and I don't feel comfortable telling her just yet. I'm worried if they take it out that she will see it and ask questions

I just took the test, and there were no colors, at all. It was all shapes. They show you 6 illustrations of an object, for instance, Cellphones. Then you are shown 6 different illustrations of cellphones (only 1 or 2 actually look like cellphones). You have to memorize those 6 shapes, then there are 18 consecutive illustrations of a Luggage X-Ray in which you have to press 1 if you see one of those shapes, and 9 if you don't. The same method is repeated using knives, shoes, tools, kitchen utensils, toys etc. The illustrations used on the test I just took do not resemble the colored x-rays in this video. They are strictly black and white, and they look more like illustrations than actual pictures.
Different parts, different colors and shapes. Overtime you start to recognize items and if something doesn’t seem right or you are unsure you can search the bag
I'm taking my test this Friday. I know the CBT test in general isn't very hard, but I read most people who don't pass, it's due to the xray and inability to comprehend the questions being asked.

@@sandrosingson6310 yes Sandro just relax it's not as hard as I thought it would be make sure to read the questions well before answering because they so be tricky at times the xray sections it gives you like 10 seconds to memorize certain object like screw drivers keys and toys one was like wiring and calculators and flashlight also a toy car you then get some images and have to click on where you see those items.

They may have updated the test. I took a different test that had 3 portions. Matching shapes, letters/numbers. I was not prepared at all.

So believe it or not our job in TSA is not to identify drugs however if we do we contact the PD inside of the airport and they handle that situation

My takeaway from this is color density, especially in the vague orange color can be a cause for a check. Look for connected devices. etc
