The contrast between this and "Witch from Mercury" is terrifying, is almost a chant, a spell, an awakening. Something broke, and things will never be the same.
That exactly what is sounds like a chant...an awakening. If this doesn't move anyone spirit they have no soul
“Witch from mercury”, the School, the prologue- there was a sort of mask of positivity over the pretty terrifying reality of what was happening. Now there’s no need for that mask, the reality Suletta, less-so Aerial is a Killing Machine made to follow commands but under the guise of a smiling, kind girl.
After these last couple of episode, it was truly a foreshadowing
This show’s soundtrack slaps harder than Suletta.

"For some reason?" I'd say it was the clearly intentional use of a haunting chant. These songs aren't composed by accident.
This piece compared to «The Witch From Mercury» feels like a very apt way to summarise the plot development. From themes of hope, grace, beauty and almost knightly valor to something evoking more of a Bene Gesserit theme with the chants around halfway through. The end of Tomato Tanuki, the birth of The Witch from Mercury.

It’s a damn shame there’s no official full soundtrack 😭 I’d been looking forward to the soundtrack release for MONTHS and when it finally came last December, we only got TWO songs. Which to be fair, they’re two absolute bangers but there were several other tracks from the show I heard that I was really looking forward to
it will be released on june 26th (all tracks from prologue, season 1 & 2)

For a second i was going to say this is pretty cute for a Gundam series...and then that Finale slapped me in my fkin face... it's about to get dark.
To be fair, beneath the relatively normal highschool setting there's always a subplot of something brewing in the background in each episode. Plus we can kind of guess something's not as they seem if we see what happened in the Prologue.
They already warned you with episode 0, episode 6, and literally every scene with the adults through the entire first season.
Not sure why people keep saying it wasn't until ep12 that it got dark.

Fantastic epic version. The full song got me chills. Just wasn't ready how it ended. I anticipated an even bigger climax before the end.

I know i'm late on this one and have not been commenting as much as before, but here's my critique of this one:
First up I really like your cover, BUT, it seems like I can almost hear the compressor comping, and it is really weird... Was it an intentional automation on the volume, or something?
However, the choirs sound very good otherwise.
This soundtrack is amazing
The original OST is now out, the track is called Aerial Rebuild (number 57), although I prefer this cover, it seems more succinct and piercing.

No. gundams series are in separated universes. Usually they have some recurring themes/tech between them. But prior shows aren't necessary.
