- Teaming up with @RandySantel to take on a MASSIVE 13.5 pound seafood platter at the Fat Mermaid in Valdez, Alaska. This was the second stop of our 5 restaurant Alaska tour. The challenge consisted of king crab, fish tacos, vegan tacos, fried calamari, shrimp, onion rings, fish sandwiches, seafood chowder, salmon pizza, and all sorts of other delights! This was a blast to film and the crowd was awesome!

It seems like you enjoyed your Alaskan adventure of sorts...also, I think its really different how you are pretty versatile, you do timed/untimed challenges, local restaurants, crazy hot beef jerky q&a's and just a lot of mixing it up. I've been watching various people do food challenges/food based channels for well over 5 years now and I can honestly say you are the most refreshing one I've seen in quite some time! @@KatinaEatsKilos Randy said he had never heard of Nut Taco's. Many years ago if you went looking for a Hot vegetarian meal it would be Lentils or Chick Peas in a sauce. If you were lucky you could find Nut Meatloaf. Because they tried to keep normal meals available and just replaced the Meat with Nuts of all sorts. Nuts actually have more Protein (Ounce for Ounce) than Beef Steak.
I do wish he would turn to Katina's camera more during the opening. Maybe it's just me, but she puts the effort into his...

Randy Santel is a natural leader for one, two he talks loud because often times more than not the surroundings are loud.Yes he puts on the weight but then works it off. Show some respect people.

Actually went to several because of learning about them from these videos, and in fact.. I cannot think of any that weren't good. Most were excellent!

Support your local businesses and restaurants as much as you can.
I think they need it more than ever right now.
I would not like to live in a world without small family owned businesses and amazing food cooked by passionate people.

I did a couple backpacking trips through Alaska and it remains one of my favorite places on earth! Seriously, I would move there if I could. Moose and caribou are delicious by the way. If you get the chance try some of the game sausage they make out of it. Have fun, and don't get eaten by bears!
Totally agree! Thanks Katherine! We actually got a chance to try reindeer sausage while we were there! It'll actually be in the next video I post on Wednesday next week! We got a chance to hike Denali and it was absolutely stunning! 10/10 for views!

Katina can definitely keep us entertained, but it's nice to mix things up a bit sometimes. She could have done this food trip with Randy and not posted it; the food trip would have still happened.
At 9:22 -that "Cracker, please!!!" look & laugh from Katina when they told them to come back in January for what I believe the guy off camera called a "splash in" when you jump in the ice cold water after the challenge. Not much into seafood, but it looks like you enjoyed it enough for the both of us. Thanks for posting another kick (b)ass video. :-)

MtSquad I’ve been kneeling for years. I usually just ask restaurants for a pad or something but decided to just get knee pads this year. I had to get up moreso just to move around. I caught myself from puking 4 or 5 times during this one haha
