I found that Maxo, with some increased compression does a great EVH tone.

I don’t like using a gate at all but I guess this is when I have to learn how to work with it.
I don think that there is any sound that can't be achieved by your suite...from Jazz to Djent and everything in between...i don't know how you do it...utterly flabbergasted.

It would be cool if you could add left/right micropitch (eventide style) and some front end phaser and flanger effects to the plugin to get closer to the Eddie sound
I love the Polychrome so much. Since day one i have it and it’s what i was looking for a long time. And the new updates coming is what i need. The only thing i’m trying to work out is with my midi Boss FS-1-WL on Reaper. This is the best pluggin you made thomas! Thank you

Nice to see how easy a solid tone can be constructed. Good talk about the gate at the end of the Video also! People shouldn’t expect it to do all the work and you’ll be a better player if you handle any noise as part of your technique!!

Hey! Sure you could add a phaser before the plug-in for the OG approach, you could also try it afterwards too 👍🏻

@@polychromedsp excellent! Hey, I just downloaded the new update with the tuner. For some reason the tuner doesn’t recognize the wound strings. Seems fine with the other three strings but not the low ones?

i don't understand how this with latency works, i downloaded the demo version, used ASIO4ALL set the samples to 64 Samples ( 0.4ms ) and i still get hearable latency. Does everyone just play with that latency or am i doing something wrong ?
I would love to buy the PolyChrome DSP but i am still better of with direct audio monitoring and my MXR pedal at the moment :(

I'll say PolyChrome DSP has great lead presets, but I'm looking for a few solid rhythm patches too.

You should be able to be able to get some great rhythm tones, check out HEATPRESSOR with Edge or Gain it work’s fantastic. 👍🏻

Maybe consider adding a few rhythm presets to the Dry category in a future release? Maybe create a rhythm category? Thanks.
