I used to listen to a lot of heavy music, but I’ve grown a lot with the Lord and really love Jesus. I noticed going into the 2000s, the "christian" bands didn't sing about Jesus anymore they just weren't overtly evil. It's refreshing to hear straight up heavy worship.

i remember the day i first saw them on JCTV in the video for "Not ready to die" being blown away thinking "damn is this christian metal...this is gooood". been hooked ever since.
You should check out Tommy Green's former band "Sleeping Giant," he sang a lot more heavy than he does with Holy Name.

Wow, I'm just shocked how powerful this song is. I listened to Sleeping giant, and just now found out about HolyName. I have to say that Tommy's voice and manner of worship is able to stir my hardened heart and revert my eyes on Him. Keep doing this because the presence of the Holy Spirit is undeniable in these songs.
