No earth with lights but for other appliances you run the earth past the switch. Live and ground into switch, earth past the switch. Thanks for your question
If they was an earth then I'd still have it connected and that could be simply by removing the outer insulation and only cutting the live and neutral shorter to make the connections.@@GetOutShop
