i just unboxed my new SE and sent off my Oasis after selling on ebay. very happy - i just love the wireless charging feature and the thought of all that space for e-books is just fabulous!
i absolutely love it! i'm glad i switched over. it's been so easy to hold. i got the straps that @creep ^ suggested in their comment above. i'd suggest getting it for you too if you need it! I'm going to record an update on my usage (eventually hehe)

I got my strapsicles and i LOVE THEM! it's a massive gamechanger for me and I'll definitely talk about it whenever i record my update video :) I hope it helps you too!
I’ve been debating between the Oasis and Paperwhite Signature! I have the basic right now and there’s nothing wrong with it but I want something better. The new green color is so pretty! By the way have you heard of Strapsicle? It’s an amazing little thing that makes holding the Kindle so much easier! They make them for all the Kindles, I highly recommend!
i loved my oasis! but with this hand problem that i have, it’s been so hard to hold. i’m also trying to figure out what to do with the new paperwhite. i see so many people using pop sockets but it would affect wireless changing - so i’m totally LOVING your suggestion!!! i’ll check them out! @@cuethesun22 you’re welcome! 🥰 I ended up ordering the paperwhite signature earlier today! I’m so excited to get it! I’ve tried popsockets on kindles and they still really hurt. But the strapsicle is so much better and comfortable, so yes definitely check them out!! I’m sorry about your hand issues, I have bad carpal tunnel so it’s a struggle for me to hold a lot of things 😔
Thank you for the strapsicle suggestion! I never heard of it, and although I do have the Oasis and love that it's a lot more comfortable for me to hold (I used to have a PW with a popsocket.. didn't work well for me) my RA is getting progressively worse so I will definitely check them out! Also, good choice on going with a PW. I love my Oasis but the battery life is pretty bad. I'm waiting for an oasis refresh before I purchase another one... for now I will have to charge it every day.

I’ll most likely be returning the oasis cause it’s refurbished and I highly doubt it’ll be as good as the PW! I just wish the PW had page turn buttons 😭😂 but I LOVE my strapsicles! Already have a pair for my basic but got a new set for the PW!

I have the Oasis and a PW. Took me a while to decide, but I prefer the Oasis. Much easier to hold and a better display. PW wins the battery life, but at some point, it’s ok to put the book down and recharge, right?
i wonder if my problem with my oasis was the case. i didnt realize until i was about to send it for trade in and i took of the case that it was actually much lighter and i wish i had thought of that before. you are definitely right. the display was much better and, for me, the battery life was great but, yes... the PW definitely wins overall in that department. overall, i do think the PW works better for me now? and i should prob do another video but ... lol
Thanks for the video! I changed from a Nook to a Kindle after having the Nook for a long time. (I was rooting for the underdog) Now I have the kindle but a ton of books on the Nook. What did you do with all of your Nook books?
when i switched over, it was easy to transfer the files because it was before amazon/kindle switched formats. what i suggest you can do is download something like calibre. it's a free software for desktop and you can convert your epubs to kindle compatible formats! :) calibre-ebook.com/
