Hope your figs survive this freeze. I'm in mid-MO and have most of mine in big planters tucked safely away in the garage. However I still have nearly a dozen older trees in ground that I've covered with multi layers of Agribon-50. I don't know why, but I didn't even think about using bubble wrap, and I have rolls of the stuff.
I have one that’s been in the ground for about 15 years and it’s only been taken to the ground (by me) after suffering cold damage once… we’ve used bubble wrap on other plants and they’ve done well, so I’m hopeful…
