Surprised you got to those speeds on the Autobahn, last time I was on one they had roadworks every 10 miles..... Good to see you are doing some other top roads other than the obvious ones.....
Stef ABtv Stef, any chance you could advise me briefly advice on buying a used A45 with regards to running and servicing costs pal?? I’m a newbie to this, was considering a used BMW M140i, as they are great cars, but I’m really attracted to the drama that AMG car brings with it. Any pointers/ things to avoid when buying?? Insurance costs/ running costs? My budget only stretches to about £25k on finance so would probably have to be a higher mileage 15 plate I think. Thanks mate. 👍🏻
I actually live in the Black Forest, but a bit more south. And it is really cute how all non germans think 160 miles is very fast :) Just a bit above normal travel speed really.

Thanks mate. Yeah to be honest we did lots of twisty roads. When I led the pack around the B roads neither of the cars could keep up. Straight line the Giulia pulled away from me but not as much as I originally thought it would.
I had a look at the fuel consumption of our mighty v8 Commodore 6.2 liter monster hsv gts over here in Australia uses twice as much fuel doesn't matter where you drive open road and round town ....but it's 0 to 100 kph is same as a45 ..that's why I brought gla45 the only difference been the yellow night I got has race mode holds the gears a little longer before changeing by the sound of it ...I'm not sure if it changes the mapping of the computor over sport + I'm like you I enjoy just going to the local shops in mine great fun..a registered go kart I call mine ....had a run with f type jag he couldn't get away round the tight bends but it was there 2nd flagship car ..not there top of line f type lol..one day mabe
the a45 gets raced on one of our prize tracks Bathurst 6hour production race Australia bmw m2 or m3 won and came 2nd not by much.. a45 came 3rd done realy well against the big v8 Commodore that came around 10th ...45 cars on the grid at start will be watching that race this year ..check it out on utube
I do not believe you had Baden Baden, I lived there for 2 years I left in January, I had to live in the blocks in the baden-baden airpark, I hope you liked the small town, I hope you tasted the wonderful kebab in huggelsheim, I hope that you liked, I miss your abarth but the a45 amg mate OMG and dont forget to visit the casino its beutiful

With a good ecu tune and de limit you should see the smiley side of 180/5 without trouble.
