I think your looks are very inclusive. Nowadays most influencers have one look with jeans, wear a high waist with a crop top or a tucked in shirt. You give more options suited for different people.
I recently bought 4 pairs of skinny jeans from Myntra, yes. I know that current fashion trends are encouraging low waisted flared jeans but I bought those and they didn't look flattering on me at all. I'm petite and 5'2. The last thing I want is to look shorter than my height. I also follow Kibbe and Kitchener body types theories. According to that I have Romantic, Ingenue essences and the current jeans trends would suit Naturals and Dramatics - which I'm not. Ishita herself has dramatic or yang dominant features and she is visibly tall - so straight and flared jeans suit her better. The crux of the matter is, fashion trends keep changing and every trend is not for everyone. So find what suits you and stick to it because at the end of the day, your clothes would be judged on how well they suit you - not on how well they gel with the trend. Hope that helps.
Same! I am also a 5"2' petite girl with slightly thick thighs...so wide leg, boot cut jeans aren't for me. Makes me look bulky and more wide. Ok. First of all, I have high regard for the content you produce. However, here’s an unpopular opinion. For “curvy” girls.. like me, wide legged jeans do not look good. And I actually like to style my skinny jeans with few of my really lose/flared tops or baggy t-shirts. I dont care if its not in trend. It gives me a good silhouette and makes me appear slimmer.
