  • In today’s video I’m going to teach you the Welsh words for various soft drinks, including the most popular drink in Wales; A lovely cup of tea. Then we’re going to look at how to order soft drinks for a group of people in a cafe or restaurant.

Alright Jason, here in Wales for the year at uni. Trying to tap into my Brythonic roots and get the language nailed as best I can in the brief time. Your videos are excellent, and great to engage with. The way you relate welsh sounds to portions of English words is really helpful, and your video on rolling R's was lifechanging ! God bless you. Thanks for making these videos. I endeavour to comment in Welsh at somepoint in the near future. Diolch !

Diolch yn fawr!!! It is very helpful that you write out the "phonetic" spelling as it is easy to miss sounds. Does Ysgytlaeth sound like "life' at the end of the word rather than "th"? I will join Patreon as soon as I get switched to a newer monitor.

Hi Jan! Laeth almost sounds like life. The first part lae sounds like the li in life. The th sounds like the th in the word thing.

Why do Chicago and Wales say pop, but English still say it wrong?
