this movie has one of the most underrated fantasy battles imo, the music with the charge then falling down to just a heartbeat then pure silence was masterful sound design, the cgi still holds up really well too

Not only are there Christian symbols on the movie, there are even Bible quotes: " Peter put down your sword. "

C.S. Lewis studied classics at Oxford and later taught literature, hence why Narnia is a world inhabited by talking animals and creatures from Greco-Roman mythology. He referred to himself as "the most reluctant convert," as he lost his faith and found it again with the help of lifelong friend and fellow Inkling J.R.R. Tolkien. Amongst the religious themes of Narnia include how Humans are referred to as "the Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve," Edmund's temptation and betrayal, and of course, Aslan Himself. Aslan is not an allegory of Christ; He is Christ, as Christ would appear in a world inhabited by talking animals. He is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, and the Lamb that was slain to save us from our sins.

Aslan represents Jesus Christ. The One who went to Calvary to sacrifice His life on a wooden cross to pay our penalty for sin. He defeated sin and death on the third day by resurrecting from the dead.

@@joshuawells835 Correct! Lewis wrote him as both literally and metaphorically Christ. How God the Son would appear and act in the Multiverse if they are real and God rules over them, while taking notes of all He had already in our world. He wasn't making a 1 for 1 allegory though, because sometimes Aslan acts like either God the Father or God the Spirit in some books.
In one of his last letters, written in March 1961, Lewis writes:
Since Narnia is a world of Talking Beasts, I thought He [Christ] would become a Talking Beast there, as He became a man here. I pictured Him becoming a lion there because (a) the lion is supposed to be the king of beasts; (b) Christ is called "The Lion of Judah" in the Bible; (c) I'd been having strange dreams about lions when I began writing the work. The whole series works out like this.
The Magician's Nephew tells the Creation and how evil entered Narnia.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
Prince Caspian restoration of the true religion after corruption.
The Horse and His Boy the calling and conversion of a heathen.
The Voyage of the "Dawn Treader" the spiritual life (specially in Reepicheep).
The Silver Chair the continuing war with the powers of darkness.
The Last Battle the coming of the Antichrist (the Ape), the end of the world and the Last Judgement.

Santa wasn’t there “because of the hope that you have brought, Your Majesties.” Aslan had breached the wall of magic the White Witch had put up to keep Christmas out of Narnia. Santa had been trying to get in for a hundred years, and it wasn’t until Aslan returned that he succeeded.

You should start with "Spoiler Alert". One reason I think people should read the books in the order that Lewis wrote them is that the professor is suppose to be a bit mysterious and you are suppose to wonder why he is so willing to believe that there could be a magic land in the back of the wardrobe. The 6th book, The Magicians Nephew, answers these things.

with a multi-award winning director set to direct and write it, as well as the author's stepson and company co producing it with Netflix? We're still not sure.
As a fan since I watched a PH musical production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe when I was a kid in 2002, I'd rather keep my mind wide open and look forward to it even with slight caution.

NARNIA is another world like ours, but using animal characters instead of people. As a Christian, C.S. Lewis wrote the Narnia books as a children's story but also with Christian themes. ASLAN as JESUS GOD is used in all of the Narnia books.
ASLAN LION, SON of the Emperor = JESUS as the LION of the tribe of Judah (out of Israel) and SON of God (ASLAN = Turkish word for LION)
ASLAN = JESUS SACRIFICED HIMSELF to save others. He willingly offers Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice. Aslan's death is a mirror of Jesus on the cross
ASLAN = JESUS as KING WITH THE FINAL VICTORY OVER EVIL
ASLAN = JESUS as a guide and teacher
Other themes in the story are: ANOTHER REALITY of parallel existence, FORGIVENESS (from Aslan and Jesus), CHANGED LIVES (BORN AGAIN) of the children with a NEW purpose and meaning in their lives
ALSO the insults and mocking to Aslan (Jesus) by His executioners before His death, and His first apperance to the girls (women) after His resurrection
ALSO God is always with us, God forgives us, the importance of family friendship and doing good, and life after death (the door to a NEW REALITY)
THE LAST BATTLE is the last book of the Chronicles, with Aslan's (Jesus) final victory of good over evil.
C.S. Lewis had been a professor of Classical Literature and Mythology at Oxford, before he became a Christian (Born Again see BOOK OF JOHN chapter 3 Nicodemus).
Other articles about Narnia and C.S. Lewis go into a lot more detail about the Christian message of Jesus sacrifice to defeat sin, evil and death, and each book in the series has a different story and symbolism.

Jesus love you moore than you know.. 🙏🙏 If you put you trust in Him and confess Him as Lord and believing He rose from the dead you will be saved..
