I've come to realize that the key to amassing wealth lies in making sound investments. I purchased my first home at the age of 21 for $87,000 and sold it for $197,000, My second home, acquired for $170,000, was later sold for $320,000, and my third property, purchased at $300,000, fetched $589,000, with buyers covering all closing costs and expenses. Not reaching a million before retirement feels like an unfulfilled goal..
That is very true! One of the main reasons I got into real estate is because it is one of the best investments you can make. I wanted to learn everything I could about it so i could make the most informed decisions. Most of the people I work with that own these million dollar properties bought them 10-20 years ago for $300k-$400k.

How do you feel about your broker? Do you feel that you picked the right brokerage. ?
I really like coldwell banker i got really lucky with the people at my office because of how helpful they have been. Most companies are similar and comes down to location and people. The only company i dont like is keller williams.

Thats awesome! Something you should know is that the licensing courses take 150+ hours most of the time. You can start those at any point even if you aren't 18. So as soon as you are 18 you can take the test and get licensed.

Hey, real estate agents work under a company but are still technically self employed. I work for Coldwell Banker but I have to find my own leads and choose when I work.

bro wth youre only 14 I honestly would not worry about licensing yet because by the time you are 18 and can take the test you might forget alot lmao. If you do want to start now though you can try and find a successful agent and become thier unlicensed assistant in order to become more experienced
I would not learn real estate this early on, as Kareem said you will probably forget a majority of it. My recommendation is learn how to talk, basic sales, mannerisms, basic economics, managing money, etc etc. Also as he said "become an assistant", though this is illegal and considered child labor unless you obtain a work permit but even then I doubt a company would hire a 14 year old as a assistant. Enjoy your years, spend time wisely and you will have no problem with the future.
get a job as a retail cashier, i think that helped me a lot with my communication skills. I thought of every customer as a home buyer and tried to be as polite and informative as possible.

Yeah you can take the courses at 17 which i recommend if you are turning 18 soon. You can take the test as soon as you turn 18

@@samuelsowunmi7740 I haven't made any money off of youtube its been for fun. To get monetized you need 1000 subscribers and over 4,000 watched hours. So far im sitting at about 700 watched hours and 296 subs.
what resources did you use to study that you think worked best for you?
I bought my courses on colibri real estate which gave me a ton of practice tests thats asked similar if not the same questions on the actual test.
Do you get paid hourly+ commission or just commissions? I'm asking because I think here in LA Real Estate is just through commissions, not 100% sure but that's what I've noted from many real estate videos I've seen
The majority of brokerages are only commission. But not all

Thats cool as hell im excited for you! The test is hard depending on where you live. I live in colorado which has a pretty hard test and I think california and texas are the same. The federal test is pretty easy though!

Hey that's great to hear its rare to have people around my age in the business. I took online courses on real estate express for around $300. It might be more expensive now. As soon as you get your license you can start selling but I went through training with my company so i knew how to schedule showings, write contracts, all of the actual work details.
