on those pushrod keepers- insert the top end, into the head. Then take a thin flat bladed screwdriver, put in under the bottom lip of the keeper, then pry up with it, using the top of the middle collar as leverage, and it will pop right in, If the keeper is hitting the fins, slip a piece of a pop carton behind it.
