It was type 3 fun for sure. But going back through the footage without the headache from altitude, there was actually heaps of riding that we did. Not sure if I will repeat that route though. Back to the maps!
Dang Jamie... I think we can rename Rotorua's 'Anxiety' as 'Walk in the park'. Not sure how much GoPro effect was happening but looked like some crazy drops at times. Anyone come close to slipping/falling?
The drop at the side at points was definitely consequential. That valley bellow was deep, the worst bits were when it had the smallest amount of slope into cliff. But when you can trust your tires and it feels just as sketchy to walk why not ride it eh? One time I saw a rock fall out from under Adam’s foot as he was walking that was pretty close. No crashes on the traverses though. The team all had good judgement on what to ride and what to walk. The scariest/hardest was the big babyhead sections that weren’t steep enough to carry speed because you’d get hung up all of a sudden just riding along!
Nothing like a good adventure! Cannot deny that we were all feeling pretty rough for most of that. Next we are heading to the Hunza Valley. Looks like it will be more mellow up there.
What an Adventure!! Man only if someone had a packet a Panadol to share around for the altitude headaches so you could enjoy it a bit more. Troopers 🙌😎🫶
What an amazing trip. Super watchable too. Hope the altitude sickness passes! 😊
Yea as soon as we were below 3-3500 we all felt heaps better eh. Glad you liked it 🙌
Looks amazing. What an adventure.

Epic Jamie . Don't know whether to say you're crazy or brave . Maybe a mix of the 2 . Fantastic viewing though
When you feel it goes it goes. Heaps of space and taking my time was key
That looks like an epic adventure. Never sure if it is adventure or ordeal but good on you for taking it on. Bit too tough for me.
Adventure 🤙
That’s some gnarly adventure riding dude 😳🤘
I think it was one of the more gnarly trails I have taken my bike on. The walk ride ratio was a bit off on this one too.

I was blimmen nervous watching as well! Must be hard to ride with confidence with the combo of lack of oxygen and high consequence.

Yea and feeling the fatigue right from the start. That first day was definitely the hardest.
How many were on Zerodes?
Four of us are on Zerodes

Rosie did and we smashed it! It helped for a couple of hours then the thumping just returned. Pretty epic trip though!
