@tea bag Just reading those words you typed made me suddenly realize that that is what happened to me. My younger brother died 4 years ago, he was 29. It was the first person I had ever lost and the last person I wanted to lose. I didn't know how to deal with it, I still don't if I'm being honest. It's like an open wound that doesn't heal and I don't know how to fix it. I'm trying though, I know I need to learn to move forward, but it's hard. So hard, but I know there's a way out.

@@RemmyRiffs Metalcore is a combination of Hardcore Punk and Extreme Metal. Death Metal is a form of Extreme Metal, so technically, there is a tiny bit of Death Metal in KSE :)

I appreciate the talent KSE just isn't my day to day band personally I'm more of a fan of agressive bands like architects.
Your music saved me when I was a teenager, being suicidal my freshmen year of high school and dealing with excruciating depression. Your music gave me the words I wanted to say and helped me process what I was feeling. I’m a Christian and I love Jesus and I thank God for you guys.

Homeless drug addict for 3 yrs and bands like KSE and Hatebreed helped me realize I have value and in turn gave me the motivation to get help and be better as a human being. Love this band. Pls never stop making music.

Thought they were the next slipknot/korn ...they are better because of the message its all perseverance, dealing with loss, guilt, shame, getting up dusting yourself off, God. From a former homless addict to another, God bless you and while I don't do social media, I could always listen and vent we are a rare breed that makes it through. @@FluffyBunny9002 That is very true! But thats not the case for this song. This song has a great message, great vocals and great riffs that remind me of My Last Serenade.
I love KSE. And I like the positive vibe they are going for in their lyrics. I dont really see this one as a masterpiece. It's good. But it's not amazing. Something with the flow doesn't feel right on this one. Feels like some of the lyrics are forced to make them fit. Maybe needed to be reworded to flow better. Or have some transitions. Sounded mostly the same all the way through. But I love KSE. Better than anything I could ever do. Seen them live and been listening to them for atleast 20 years. The Signal Fire was definetly a masterpiece.

Saw them live in saskatoon when I was 17. Literally 21 years ago now. Had no idea who they were. They opened for slipknot when Howie was still lead singer. They changed my life. Amazing metal group 🤟🏻😎
That synth/organ intro just gets through to me in a good way....I can't explain what I feel when I hear it. It goes right to my soul for some reason. I wish youtube had a loop of just that intro, nobody has done it.

Just when I wanna say Howard can't be beaten, Jesse makes something like this. They are both so amazing at what they do.
Jesse has improved a lot and it shows his work ethic. Howard is one of the best and Jesse can hang with him
Was so happy when I heard that Jesse was coming back. If ya didn't know, he was Killswitches original singer b4 Howard. Check out their album "Alive or just breathing". Was the album b4 Howard joined up. Check out Howard's original band Blood Has Been Shed also. Brutal stuff....
Whether you like Howard or Jesse better as a singer is personal preference but Jesse destroys him as a screamer.
