The lyrics.. the harmony with the screams and power singer with that rasp.. and the double bass drum sounded like thunder... This is absolutely amazing!
I totally dig what they did on that 3:45 chorus with intermediate back vocals becoming outright raw screams. That contrast and how the tension grows through the song until this brutal release towards the end of it is just *so* good.

And then Jessie and Howard sang signal fire together. Absolutely amazing!! This band…. You can just put their whole discography on shuffle and there will not be one song that disappoints

Most metal bands I listen to have a couple songs that just didn't do it for me but with Killswitch engaged they don't have a bad song this one you know you are a legendary band . It's a shame that the music industry is so cluttered that Killswitch engage doesn't get the recognition they should, I mean they're well-known but I would argue they are the best metal band of era , I have a lot of favorites but they always bring the heat and I don't ever get tired of listening to their songs .

In july i got the honor to see these guys live at rock the park and was one of the 1st people to hear this song before they dropped the album. Ill never forget seeing him throw up everywhere and shaking my hand!. I can die happy now.
I like the different feel to this song. Love the music they create. I'm shocked though... in some interviews they talked about how they wrote almost 22 songs for this album and then whittled it down to 17. I assumed that there would be more than 11 tracks. I hope they come out in bonus tracks or one offs at least. Keep the dream alive! 🤘🤘🤘

RayRomanosNose Adam D went to the Price is Right a long time ago, Mike D has been busy making cameo appearances at Wrestling events/shows, Justin and Joel have been hanging out in Joel’s parents basement, and Jesse has mostly been on his bike riding.
So they have all been somewhere 😂😂😂

One of the few bands that can release new material and it's still just as good as Alive or Just Breathing and every extrapolation after that.
