A TRIP TO AUSCHWITZ BIRKENAU | AUSCHWITZ CONCENTRATION CAMP PART 1 | HOLOCAUST HISTORY

Join me in this 2 part video series where I visit the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp. In this video I am at Auschwitz 1. A former army barracks were turned into a Concentration Camp in 1940. Much of the camp remains from that time and is the most well known site linked to the ‘Final Solution’. The crimes committed here were horrific and on a scale unimaginable. As I walk around the camp, the displays show the history of what happened here in Auschwitz and the crimes committed by the Nazi’s. Is it easy to purchase tickets if you go on your own? Do they offer audio guides?

Its easy to book tickets online through: visit.auschwitz.org/. It's better to book the ticket online as during the busy times, the slots get booked out quickly. These types of tickets are called "Tour for individuals without an educator" and are free. These do not have an audio guide. They also offer guided tours as well in whichever language you prefer.

@@NomadicJas than you very much. I was planning to get a guided tour but. I might do it my self I’m thinking they should have barcodes or notes of in different languages in what you are looking at correct? Thanks for sharing the link and for the quick response l.
