Made without the use of synthetic preservatives, this King is entirely self-preserving with some seriously softening ingredients. First, Candice peels and mashes avocados and bananas, which are then whipped into a luxurious blend of coconut oil, cocoa and shea butters to give this body butter supreme ultra-moisturizing capabilities. Oh my god I only started using this last month and I wish I started way earlier!!! Tried the buffy but didn't quite like it but this one is a while other level of pampering. Leaves this skin so moisturizer and a bit oily at first but then absorbs and leaves the skin so soft 😍😍😍 definitely adding this to the stock list

There is no natural perspective unfortunately.
High fat and high sugar acts as preservative. You can make it in India And if you are helping indian family and farmers by giving them opportunity, we will buy it from you. I will never buy Lush products because they don't support local economy in third world country, food is cultivated unfairly. The farmers in poor country are not paid enough, while these maggots in Europe and America sell their product for 20 dollars for one item.

Lavender? I don't smell lavender when I use King of Skin. Also, some of the blocks are bigger than others. If you guys start pouring the molds as evenly and as full as you did in the video, that woulda be greatly appreciated! I've bought a few and some are bigger than others.....
Great video. I didn't know that's how it's made! This stuff helps my dry skin, as I hate using lotions. I love how I can put this on after a shower when I'm still covered in water droplets. I know it's almost the same thing as lotion, but this stuff just keeps me moisturized and soft whereas lotion feels greasy. Eeeww! Yay for King of Skin!

I'm so sad, they discontinued this product in my country 😢
It was my favourite Lush product. My skin gets very dry in Winter, so I don't like using lightweight lotions. I don't like products that feel too greasy, either. I loved this because you can use it in the shower after washing and that's your moisturiser all done! Saves time and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated! I haven't tried many of their other body bars but their massage bars might do the trick! It's a real shame though as I was going to order this product this week, only to find out they didn't have it.
I would LOVE if you guys did a How it's made video for solid conditioners preferably Jungle because that one is my favorite!

I have been refusing to buy this product as I didn't know what was in it. Now I know I might get this Body Butter ❤️ How long does it take to make the mould??
I really like using the body butters. At first I wasn't sure but they're a pretty unique experience. I find they work best right after you shower/bath and you apply while you're still wet.
It's a nice alternative to traditional moisturizers.
Our moulds are created in-house - that's how we're able to create products with so many shapes! We create our moulds in advance so they're ready to go before we start making the product!

I wish Lush would use the avocado pits and peel. One dried and ground to a powder they have many health benefits from all of the vitamins. And they can easily be used as a colorant or exfoliant.

I wonder if a preservative is used due the bananas and avocados? if no preservative it can go bad and moldy.
They absolutely *have* to add a preservative, just for the reasons that you mention. But the preservative is hidden in the fragrance (as in there is a specific preservative that can be called but is actually an preservative with a vanilla like scent to it. I have a bottle of it, I formulate my own stuff, so that is why I know about this) But Lush keeps that a secret and does not disclose this in the ingredientslist;)
Såpe fruen thanks for informing us! There has always been a debate as to whether or not Lush used a preservative in this. The general consensus was that they did even tho they said they didn’t. I always wondered how they could get away with not listing it. I have a feeling they discontinued this product due to that little controversy behind the preservative

Hi sweets, all of our products have an exipiry date from the day they are first hand made! Our King Of Skin Body Lotion last for 12 months from the day they are first handmade!

I love this stuff
They say lush isn’t being entirely honest about the ingredients in this. They claim they do not use a preservative but many have found this is not possible as there is a good amount of fresh fruit in this. The “Natural preservatives” they claim prohibits bacteria growth is actually not a strong enough preservative for fresh fruit. People have tested out the recipe and found mold grows fairly quickly and easily
I've never heard 'confusion' and 'absolute' used that way before.
