Honestly this definitely feels like Scandal fanfiction. Some of the gripes you have about the male Mc were the same ones I had for Fitz and Jake. Olivia was a bad*ss about her work but kinda dumb in love. Tho I don’t remember Fitz saying anything THAT out of pocket. I’m sure the bad writing style didn’t help.
Clover was good at her job but she was no where close to Olivia. I hate Fitz so yeah I think the President aspect was the only thing similar to Scandal
Literally the worst book boyfriend I’ve ever read👎🏽 I never liked him throughout the whole book, but there’s no coming back from that. And like you said, the fact that the disrespect wasn’t even addressed was WILD.
