- The meteor shower of the Eta Aquarids reaches its peak around May 6th. While it is the strongest meteor shower of the year in the southern hemisphere with around 60 shooting stars per hour, you can only see a fraction of these in the northern hemisphere, since the radiant only rises in the morning. So here in Lower Saxony / Germany I only had a time window of about 1 hour before the sun rose.
Der Meteorschauer der Eta-Aquariiden erreicht um den 06. Mai herum seinen Höhepunkt. Während er auf der Südhalbkugel mit ca. 60 Sternschnuppen pro Stunde den stärksten Meteorschauer des Jahres darstellt, kann man hier auf der Nordhalbkugel nur ein Bruchteil von diesen sehen, da der Radiant erst am Morgen aufgeht. So hatte ich hier in Niedersachsen nur ein Zeitfenster von ca. 1 Stunde bevor dann die Sonne aufging.

Here it is mostly cloudy on days when there are sky shows. Can't stay up too late cause I got to work. So I watch on You Tube. Thank you very much for this great video.

I’m jealous you had clear skies. I saw only 5 on Wednesday cos it was quite overcast, but I did get to see Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starlink Satellites an hour before sunrise which was amazing.

An object moves in a downward direction,can someone tell if that's a satellite or plane,cheers.
I am not 100% sure, but I think it is a satellite.

Man. This is very beautiful. I seen 7 of this in 4-5 may. I'm not sure that's shooting star or just my imagination but I'm sure that's shape is same to your video. And i'm not sure that's eta aquarid cause the direction is unpredictable also not in aquarius. So what's this? Please answer to proof that's not my imagination

Ist das Maximum eigentlich jetzt vorbei oder kommen heute auch noch einige?
Die Eta-Aquariiden haben ein relativ breites Maximum, das ungefähr bis zu dem 8. Mai andauert. Allerdings kann man sie hier auf der Nordhalbkugel erst ab ca. 2 Uhr und dann auch meist nur relativ horizontnah beobachten.

Thats not a meteor shower dose are Ufo i was watching the sky aswel and some of the moving objects was standing still for a few hours and then it happen
