Hi, I'm TFLoffroad. I'm going to stop going up a hill that the power wagon was more than capable of climbing, at an obvious ram event, to make a shill video for the warn winch. We are one of the best at making videos when it come to the truck market, but...…..it's not past us to make a video to promote a product. This is honestly how is see these type videos. Your truck nuts book was great, MPG test is solid, IKE gauntlet gives the best honest real world review of what truck people can honestly ask for. You guys do a good job reviews on all the TFL platforms over then the videos were you shill to the manufacturer. Simply put you guys are above stopping on a hill you obviously didn't need to use a winch on. Really you had to let off the throttle to stop climbing up a hill to "show us" how a winch worked. It's just not an honest review.
A guy I spoke to the other day has one of these trucks and it's a looker but says. It's a pig on fuel. Maybe I'm old school but on a big heavy truck I'd rather have the steel cable. That's just me
C Steele fair eough. I've had both on atvs, jeeps, and trucks. My personal preference is synthetic for safety and ease of use and repair. I've switched over 3 of my 4 Warns after trying synthetic line. The 4th came with it and caused me to change my mind about steel.
Made in Canada??? That must be the Canada they talk about on TV that is an hour outside of Los Angeles, but I always thought that was really Santa Clarita.
How not to do it.. Worst cable safety management I have ever seen! Winching and the bloke at the anchor end crouches in the direct line of fire! No cable damper beyond the abrasion sleeve to cap it off!
Great video as usual. However...some could argue that the debate is still ongoing regarding steel vs. synthetic. I for one point to SpaceX... ...and their use of (return to) stainless steel instead of some new-age polymer or synthetic. I run a 10klb SuperWinch with 3/8ths inch steel cable. I wear simple, insulated gloves when handling said cable. At no time am I concerned about how much 'particulate' my steel cable encounters. At no time am I concerned with how many pulls at what tension stress my steel cable has experienced. In short, following a brief visual inspection of said steel cable, at no time am I concerned with an "MTBF" (meantime between failure). (a little nerdy IT offroader humor)
Lmao. How soon u forget that u have to wash out the rope every trip! Mud and crit in the fibers destroys a rope in no time!! Rope sounds nice but is far from perfect!
Weak.... Warn makes a wireless version of the same winch. And that thing on the front to tie the cable to is dam stupid... It should have a Factor 55 thimble on it.. the whole cable inside and no hard angles when stored.... But it is a Dodge so I guess that is what you get.

That running board & air dem needs to go. Not on a power wagon.
Didnt even need the wench tells you how good this truck is off road
It would have been better choreographed (and a little snarky) if you just drove the hill showing that you really didn't need the winch, and then came back and did the winch demo...for the just in case scenario. Opportunity missed!
What a truck.
Power wagon es una Súper Camioneta hermosa .... RAM hace las mejores pickup del mercado
That ditch was deep! Would've been bad if that truck fell in it!
Good looking
I miss the old power wagons you know the WAGONS!!! WITH V8'S AND 4X4
5:55 the dude is sitting in front of the anchor vehicle ! Who are these amateur clowns ?? 😖
I really want one of these trucks but A) I have no use for one and B) I can't afford one.
Roger J I am there too. Looking for stupid ways to work I can get stuck at so I do need a pw.
I think that sums up the target demographic for this truck.
You could have easy drove it up that hill. They were showing us the winch.
5:41, No, what's really beautiful is, A WIRELESS REMOTE PHOB lol
A guy I spoke to the other day has one of these trucks and it's a looker but says. It's a pig on fuel. Maybe I'm old school but on a big heavy truck I'd rather have the steel cable. That's just me
C Steele fair eough. I've had both on atvs, jeeps, and trucks. My personal preference is synthetic for safety and ease of use and repair. I've switched over 3 of my 4 Warns after trying synthetic line. The 4th came with it and caused me to change my mind about steel.
Warn Winch pulling capacity 12,000lbs Vs Power Wagon pulling capacity 10,000lbs.
Fiat included a winch? Nice!
We all saw the wagon wudve made it up without a winch u really need to get the wagon stuck and then winch it out
Still no diesel option....
At least give the damn thing a 5.0 cummins
Ram Eksolent video bro 👍👍👍👍
Learn to spell dummy
Nice!!!! All it needs is a Cummins 😋
But can it winch his eyes out of his forehead?
If you are trying to get it stuck, then the hell would you put it in Power Wagon don't give a SH** mode?
Hey Stephen.. why are you so scared?
Wooow quisiera una power wagon pero pues con mi ford explorer 2003 soy inmensamente feliz
Whats up with all those f150 truck commercials?
It's just what TH-cam does. The content creator has no control over the ads used on their videos. Ford probably pays them a pretty penny.
It's Kool but I don't think you needed to use it for that
I bet he says that to all the guys
Made in Canada??? That must be the Canada they talk about on TV that is an hour outside of Los Angeles, but I always thought that was really Santa Clarita.
La Canada
How not to do it.. Worst cable safety management I have ever seen! Winching and the bloke at the anchor end crouches in the direct line of fire! No cable damper beyond the abrasion sleeve to cap it off!
Best truck
Stay up baby! Stay up baby! I bet he says that in bed too... haha.. jk
Synthetic winch lines have been out a Loooong time....they hold up fine....
Lmao. How soon u forget that u have to wash out the rope every trip! Mud and crit in the fibers destroys a rope in no time!! Rope sounds nice but is far from perfect!
Thank God Dodge put a winch on these trucks because they really suck off road! 😂
Weak.... Warn makes a wireless version of the same winch. And that thing on the front to tie the cable to is dam stupid... It should have a Factor 55 thimble on it.. the whole cable inside and no hard angles when stored.... But it is a Dodge so I guess that is what you get.
I love 12 strand winch line. So much nicer to use. I sell this in my online company www.revolutionropesonline.com I buy direct and offer custom splicing with straps and kinetic rope. Power wagon should have a kinetic rope from the factory also, they badass for sure!
