Either is fine,. Oxyclean can go in the prewash dispenser of you want to use regular detergent as well. Add the vinegar to the fabric softener tray alone.

I generally mix them. Just oxiclean should be fine though

If i can't get white vinegar, would malt vinegar work too?
In that case I’d just skip vinegar 👍🏻 it’s not essential in the process
Did u use laundry soap?
Not for the soaking part. I used regular laundry detergent in the washing machine after the soak was over.
