    Great tip. I have been struggling with why I wasn’t getting any action off the cue ball when I hit hard. Asked and answered!

    Thank you for the concise explanation as always. I've always hit the cue ball with too much power when applying spin

    I'm working through getting more spin without trying to reaort to smashing it.
    I know I'm gripping tighter when hitting hard (did a lot of straight hard shots), and its putting left spin on cb causing a miss to the right. If i can solve this one, bet I go up a rank. Critical times I'm hitting harder and missing. One poor miss a game pretty much means they'll get the last run out.

    Same concept can apply to draw shots. You can get a ton of draw with a softer lower hit with follow through

    I was wondering I also use the ignite 30 inch shaft an do you prefer a soft or medium tip on your shaft?

    We all hit a bit too hard sometimes but I'm definitely guilty of hitting super hard when I don't need to and my mind thinks it's the right choice even if it's wrong

    • @gregorpesek

      I'm genuinely curious,what do you think is a proper follow-through?

    • @andreirau
      @andreirau ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gregorpesek the thing he calls "the secret" - its not what i think, its what it is. of course smacking the balls wont have the same result as a leaner show, with proper follow through which makes the spin effective and efficient. why so "genuinely curious"? what did you think i thought it was? a sausage?

      @robertl426 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andreirau You have to bear in mind that videos like this are aimed at beginners and total amateurs. I'm not a good player, but I do understand the physics and mechanics of the game, not everyone does.

    In all your videos you are talking to much how not to do a shot. Instead you can teach pool showing just how to do things and that will be much better.
