One of my favourite fights in the game to be honest. Glad they switched up his moves and even gave him an evasive maneuver as well. Makes a whole heap of a difference. Great run!
I absolutely love the way nergigante fights. The jump up atomic slam down is just awesome. And the pig squeal when he's hit bad is a nice touch too. Cant wait to get my rank up so I can join that hunt. Till then I help out the regular mhw folks with the tempered ones.
I'm realy mixed on weather I miss the bristle brush or dont. On one hand it was funy as hell, on the other hand it kinda killed the mood when I first saw this badass endgame weapon of the flagship monster.
Over all, I am glad that IB has a few impact CB viable alternatives. In the base game maybe only one (Taroth Strongarm "claw") is viable besides Diablos CB

Phial* but yes Artillery lvl 5 for max damage added with Attack Boost 4, Artillery 5, and Agitator 3 for best results. This is just so you don't lose sharpness with the Savage Axe since it hits so many times and eats away your sharpness
@@sethemerson6684 monsters can get enraged by using the slinger shot to flinch them into a wall or boulders and that enrages them everytime. So your agitator can be active for almost 70% of the time.

Why you take all guard skill as i know if you charge in your shied you will get 2 skill guard and 2 in guard point that is 4 you only need to take 1 for all skill or something has change in Ice borne ?
A lot of monsters hit much harder in Iceborne, so many of them that you should have guard 3 for a lot of fights. Then there are moves that you need guard 5 AND a charged shield to counter, live Glavenus' ultimate or Nergigante's divebomb. I did some testing and I think it's actually more like you get 1 point of guard for a guard point, 1 for the charged shield. Even if the skill only goes to 5, you can still get more guard on top of that by guard points, and charging your shield.
BoldAlphawolf if the monster gets put to sleep u can flinch shot on the wake up before the enrage reactivates. I remember hearing that somewhere, I think in a jinx and tuna vid

Monster hit like a tank you need 3 guard make it worth it
