His guard pointing is excellent! You don't see it clearly but when he puts his sword back into his shield when it's in from of him. Thats a guard point. He can then immediately counter attack or enter axe mode. In Double cross you can combine this with the Absolute guard and the guard pointing. You'd be practically unbeatable.

I know this comment is a month old but as you are about to go into a saed (super amped elemental discharge), you can hold back on the left analogue stick and press Y or Triangle on Ps4 and you will go into an amped elemental discharge instead and consume one phial.
I don’t understand , I fight regular rajangs and they never stop swinging or jumping no matter what I do. This tempered one was pissed once and that’s it. I have never done a sub 10 hunt maybe even sub 15 either. I try but the fastest I get is 20-25. I can’t even beat regular Rajang on my own
There's obviously some luck in not getting the fast, unpunishable attacks, but rajang is a glass cannon. You start killing him much faster once you know his patterns and fight him in places where he can't bounce off the walls.
normal AED. If you have charge shield you can hold back and press left click during the SAED startup animation. It's also what comes out if your shield is uncharged.
Pause button. TH-cam also has a slowing feature. He has to make videos as short as possible to keep the speed runner vibes. All speed runners speed through the build at the end, its culture. 😂

Very good use of both Amped Element discharges. You don't always have to have max phials to do a ton of damage with the SAED

Its probably is a safi weapon just layered. No way dude is beating up Tempered Rajang in 4 minutes with a high rank weapon.

Paul Mims 1 rajang laser need guard up to block 2 for slinger shot 2 times in start the run
There's no reason to not put sling cap 1 on every build now.

Hey why do my phials with this CB do only like 30-40 dmg with SAED? I went the zodazodazo build with it. Is Artillery not necessary with an Ice CB?
My guess would be that youre missing the element charm or that youre not playing the right element for the monsters weakness
Incase players forgot, artillery doesn't work for elemental CB's. That can only work for impact type

its does more damage with savage axe mode, but this is a speedrun i think he wanted to defeat the monster as fast as possible.
He's doing SAEDs, it would slow him down in the long run if he has to activate Savage Axe mode everytime he does the SAED

Charge blade sword is charged from the shield, not phials. If ur shield is charged, then u can charge ur sword.
