    I would love to hear more about how veganism contributes or causes infertility. My daughter and son-in-law have been trying unsuccessfully to conceive. He's been vegan for 4 yrs and she's part time vegan but also very low fat and very low animal protein.

    • @carnigoth
      @carnigoth 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh yeah, that's a fascinating topic and I've heard about many cases of the correlation of infertility and veganism

      Low sat fat and cholesterol. I know a vegan couple, no kids, both had issues. Never once suspected it was their diet and now they're in their 70s, not going to say anything.

      Their bodies are starved for nutrients. Leading fertility specialist Dr. KILTZ would put the couple on HIGH ANIMAL FAT, RUMANANT MEAT diet. They need to eat a species appropriate diet. Human physiology is not designed to consume plants. Plant based diet provides empty calories plus aggravates. Ex vegetarian.

    A very great discussion, thank you! Also I know in a prior video you mentioned a potential allulose study that you or someone within Utah would be conducting. Anything further on that? I'd be interested in participating.

      He is an indeed a great and truly devoted professor, but please know he is not in a league of his own. There are many wonderful doctors who are working hard to spread the truth of metabolic health and the harm of the Standard American Diet. They, too, are doing it without pay.

    I think you just helped me figure out what's wrong with me. I was leaning to Lipedema a couple of weeks back and even bought compression wrap for my arms (with hurt). 8 years ago my arms developed this weird hanging pocket of fat, I thought it was because after my pregnancy/hysterectomy at age 32, I knew my hormones were out of balance and I had gained 80+ pounds. Last year. I was diagnosed with Fatty Liver, my lymphnodes have been swollen for 3 years, I was diagnosed with lympodema, all of that resulted in dozens and dozens of tests trying to find the root cause of my swollen liver and spleen. They never could pin it down. I'm wondering if this is it and if cryo therapy (shrinks fat cells) would be a potential treatment?

    Dr Bikman, could you do a presentation on the responsibilities of insulin in the body. I mean the good ones . With metabolic disease and high insulin resistance then all efforts are in bringing it down. but for the ones of us that have metabolic healthy markers and have a very low level of insulin, 2 in my case, to the point that maybe it’s not healthy either and metabolically inflexible , in my case I now i have a pretty imediato response to sugar any small amount and my insulin spikes and feel not great. I’d like to understand the importance of metabolic flexibility and make sure that Insulin maintains a healthy role in our body. After all just like we have a liver to make cholesterol, we have an entire organ that makes insulin. What are the responsibilities of insulin other than dealing with glucose in the body, explain why insulin is important and how should it work in a healthy body. What other things does it support in our body and what can go wrong when it’s not working properly either? By the way been super low carb for a year now , healthy athletic and LMHR. Thank you

    So what's an alternate treatment for difficulty urinating because of BPH other than tamsulosin that causes infertility. Tamsulosin is also said to cause erection but it seems to have the oposite effect. I also have very high Testosterone Total (up around 1100 ng/dl) but normal Testosterone Free (18 ng/dl)

      I’d love it if Dr. Bikman explained it, too. In the meantime, look up Bart Kay’s explanation of the Randle Cycle. I think that it might hold the answer to your question.

      That diet worked because it was monotonous. You ate until you weren't hungry. Dr Fung talks about this diet. Unsustainable long term thus abandoned.
