Hey Mark I’ve got two questions:
    1) Can we throw away feelings to do anything we want? Even including watching movies and shows where you can say art is subjective and about feeling. I’ve had mental blocks around Batman as a kid for example, not drawing me into his media, as opposed to to my great feelings around Spider-Man. Do those feelings matter?
    2) For the past five years I’ve had weird feelings that don’t feel good or make my happy since developing OCD, but does THAT even matter when I should be focusing on my actions and values?

@@downspiral I'm not sure I understand the questions. We don't have to "throw away" feelings, but we also don't have to put them in charge of our choices. We can do the actions we want to do and whatever feelings can come along for the ride

Hi Mark, I order and bought your book “Your are not a Rock”, I think it will arrive this week. I would also like to take your online course “Mental Fitness 101”. Does it make sense to read and take the corse, or do these working materials overlap?

@pedrojunqueiralopes5499 Thanks for reading and being interested in the course! I would start with YANAR and then if you struggling to apply the skills, explore the course. I completed revised the course last year, so it is new and addresses challenges people often bring up. But many people also read the book and that's all they need to start applying the skills. So try doing the exercises from the book and applying the skills to see how that goes. Feel free to share any questions as you're working through the exercises.

Hi Mark, there are many kinda virtues or things that I learned about myself over time. I noticed that many things that I learned about my behaviour (mostly towards my feelings) I also forgot a lot of it over time. Just one example is I recently remembered that I don't need to pressure myself about things being meaningful in my life, I can also let meaningless be there. But I forgot about that lets say virtue or value, whatever it is and slipped back into old behaviours pressuring me finding meaning in things. How do you maintain realizations about yourself and especially on travel

@@romantheroman98 What does "maintain realizations" mean to you? What actions would you do if you could hold onto that permanently?
