We have used the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
Great news. Added the interlock and the generator did fantastic. I was able to run the whole house with 1 of the 2 HVAC units on. 2 refrigerators and 3000+sqft of living space. I could not be more happy using NG and saving so much money as compared to a General Whole home unit. I switched to a 10 foot gas hose. Using a 50 amp interlock cord directly to the house.

Can you let me know what size your AC is and if you are using a soft start device? I just purchased this unit but have two 4 ton units and wasn’t expecting this to handle even one at a time running on NG. I was planning to just use a portable AC during outage. Great video!
I have the same generator from Costo but just the dual version. Gas and propane. I paid $499 on sale at costco. I have had to use it this past summer two times. Once for a few hours and the other time for 40 straight hours. I have a 100lb propane take so that makes it very easy. I don't access to natural gas so that would not be something I need. So far it has run flawlessly. When I first got it I added the oil ran it for an hour and changed the oil. Second time I ran for two hours on propane and again changed the oil, this time I put on a small load. After the 40 hours of use I again changed the oil. I did have some trouble starting it the last time on propane. I took 3-4 tries to kick over. I am more than happy with the purchase. I also had a transfer switch installed next to my breaker. This operation could not be any simpler. Thanks for the video.

Yeah I have the duel fuel also. I ran and changed oil the same way you did. I haven't had it long enough to use it for an emergency but that's ok because I know some day I'll actually need it. Every home should have an emergency generator
Just bought one at Costco for $900. The 30amp plug and generator interconnect was $990 for install by an electrician. $1000 to get the gas line stubbed over a few feet with two valves. One for the generator and one for my grill. Excited to have this. I'm sure that now this is installed, it won't snow or storm this winter. 🤣
@@CyberMikes thanks, i have 1/2 at the grill and will use that feed. may try a Y connector to see if there is enough gas at that point to run both bbq and generator, rather than running another feed.
@@dakotamar45acp I believe it’s a 3/4 line then it tapers down to 1/2 for the BBQ. My gas meter is rated for 275,000 cf/h. There is no way I’ll be using that much gas.
Great review, looking at generators for hurricane season. A friend of mine picked this up last year 2020 at Costco on sale $599.99. That's a steal compared today.
@@bobgieser2943 Raul did not say whether he was in Canada or the US. This generator is available at 2 Costcos near my house in Canada for $899 Canadian right now. The Canadian dollar is at about $0.80 USD so that would be about $720 USD. So if he is in Canada $899 CAD is about what you are going to pay but in real money (USD) it is not that far off. I really want one of these Firmans for the house, but since I already have a 2900 watt Yamaha with an American Carburetor tri-fuel conversion on it my wife is not so keen. And let me tell you straight up the Yamaha was way more than $899 Canadian! And only 2900 watts instead of the 5500 watts the Firman will make on natural gas. The Yamaha is an inverter generator, which is nice, but you can't use eco mode on gas or propane. I bought the Yamaha originally for camping because it is an inverter and much quieter than the Firman (as well as more portable), but for home use the Firman seems like an outstanding value. The Firman is not an inverter generator, but if noise and fuel economy aren't your number 1 and 2 concerns then an inverter doesn't really give much value. For home backup this model running on natural gas or propane seems like a great and cost effective solution.
This is my 2 nd tri fuel generator. I have a plug outside by the generator, that goes to the fuse box in my basement. It is hooked to a natural gas line that used to be for a pool heater (That I don't need anymore) The natural gas line fitting that came straight out of the generator I looked and found a 3/8 swivel fitting 90 degrees , now it goes down instead of straight out. In less than 5 minutes from the time the lights go out I can have them back on. (very easy) I have the same generator as that one. I have an 1850 sq. foot and the basement is the same size house . It runs pretty much everything in the house . I had a new 3 ton AC unit installed in July, (the old one was very old and it wouldn't run it) with a hard start kit, now it works too . You never have everything in your house on at the same time. I have lights , plugs. heat, in every room. It all works. I use a generator interlock switch on the fuse box. You turn off the main fuse, then turn on the generator circuit breaker and you have power in the house. I live in Michigan, we lose power here on a regular basis. You will love it.
I just purchased one and I'm very impressed so far. It will hook up to the little receptacle I had an electrician install with a cut over switch, so it will power my panel. A little warning to everyone, these generators are not inverter type generators so I'm concerned about their higher than normal THD for some devices. Would be interested to know other people's experiences. You CAN clean up the power (lower the THD) with a double conversion UPS, but they cost as much as the generator! Nonetheless, you're still way ahead as the total cost is FAR less than a whole house generator.
My gas line from the house is right behind the generator about 2 feet to where it hooks to the generator. Yes I do have a 1/2 inch gas line, its about 10 feet long (that's the way I got it, don't need it that long). My ac went out about a month ago , it was very old, when I had the new one installed I had him put a hard start kit on it, NOW it run's the AC too. I do love it. I do start and run it about once a month for about 20 minutes or so to make sure it will start when and if I need it. I used to lose it mostly from squirrels, the pole is right beside my house. They finally stopped that. I still love it.
@@henrylara8876 Yes, but I have a 3/4 inch line for a pool heater right by the generator (Idon't need that anymore) , like less than 2 feet away, I just replaced the central AC unit with a 3 ton, back in July I had him to install a hard start kit then also, my old was very old. Now with the new AC unit it runs too. That's just a bonus for me.
@@RickPaquin Did you electric set you up with a 50 amp or 30 amp breaker and inlet box? I just purchased this generator from Costco. And I don’t know if I should go with a 30 amp or 50 amp breaker.
Followup; Success; I let it sit and clear for a half hour to re-read the manual. I topped up the oil; says not to check it with the dipstick screwed in, so it took another 1/2 C, moved all the dials to NG, and moved the choke to run. It took 3 tries of 3 sec,(electric start) and it started and ran smoothly, no misses or stumbling.( noisy bugger)
I just ordered one from Costco today, can't wait to hook it up to where my old natural gas BBQ grill was. not having to deal with gasoline in cans is going to be a plus

picked this up and am doing the same, natural gas grill connection and 30 amp outdoor hookup to the panel. most of the benefit of a whole home setup at a fraction of the cost
You better double check. A gas grill gas line is not big enought to run that generator. Well I guess that depends on how big your grill is. My natural gas line was from a pool heater (3/4 inch) that I don't need anymore. It's less than 2 feet from the generator, 1/2 inch is ok if you don't have to go far. But I do love mine. It will run everything in my 1850 square foot house. Even the 3 ton central AC unit (but thats new in July with a hard start kit) Remember you never have every thing in your house on at the same time. I used a generator interlock kit on my fuse box. 5 minutes from light's out till there back on.
Bought mine last year at Costco on sale for 750! Didnt really get a chance to use it. I live in Louisiana, and we a have a storm headed this way now. We ready to go!
@@josec3823 SE Louisianan here. Bought one (*) of these after the storm. I ran three 5000 btu window units at once along with several tower fans this week. As an experiment, I started them all at once by just flipping on the main breaker on the unit. It didn't bog down in the slightest. I was running it on gasoline. * First unit was a dud. I had to return it for exchange. Out of the box, it would start and run for 5-6 seconds, then die. Furman phone tech got me running by having me disconnect the VFO behind the control panel. Even then, it was only outputting 46 Hz. I had to max out the idle screw on the carb to adjust the frequency up to 60 Hz, but it dropped under load. The tech had shipped a replacement VFO, but a second call to Firman over shipping concerns connected me with tech Daniel, who caught on to something the first tech may have missed with the low frequency and arranged for an exchange.
Our power went out and my dad started the generator the first time but when he went to work my mom said power was back on and cut the generator off without checking and we did not know how to fix it and turn it back on so I went on TH-cam and searched what we needed saw the generator we have and clicked went outside my mom was proud😁
VERY Helpful, just bought the same or very similar from Costco her in CA. didn't come with the ng/natural gas hose. Just ordered a 12 footer. It is my rookie understanding that a longet run like a 24 foot hose like you have may make for some pressure issues esp if same line as other appliances, The closer to the "meter" the better. The review is missing one thing. noise level. Seems to be loud as funk? in an emergency isn't a big dealio, in other sitches fellow campers or neighbor's might rightly so send it to the cornfield.
Don't underestimate the weight of this dude. This thing is SO heavy I would need to winch it up on a truck bed. I just don't see this used for camping unless it's on a separate trailer you haul behind your rig. But I supposed some might do that. Yep, it's noisy though.
Awsome generator. Love how it's tri fuel. The more options you have the better. As for mine Its duel fuel. Gas n propane. Love how propane will store for 30 yrs without treating it like gasoline. As for national gas I'm not a fan of it because now we know the government can shut the gas supply down during an emergency like we seen in Texas. All them people with natural gas stand by generators couldn't use them when they needed it.
Generally if you have a natural gas generator you also have a propane conversion for it, so go and also buy a good size LP gas tank as well, there is no such thing as a sure thing, unless it is bad luck.
pweiss15 yes it took long time for delivery. But great machine I did the break in and now stored ready for any emergency. I ran it on propane didn’t try on gas

I read people complain about the loud noise this unit makes. My main concern more than the noise is dirty power it apparently provides. At 11%-14% THD, I'm concerned electronics will get damaged.
That's a very nice generator... and thank you for the video. If you would allow me to offer one small piece of advice... you should load test it with a full load (after its broken in) while on natural gas to make sure you have enough NG flow to supply the generator at full load. I am impressed with that unit though... I, myself, do not have natural gas at my home so i run my units on propane... good luck with it... and, again, thank you ...
Probe, glad you mentioned the load test. After breaking it in I decided to put a lid on it using some house appliances. I plugged in a fridge, a separate standing freezer, a large stran of outdoor lights, a fan, and all was good. Lastly, I decided to connect a hair dryer and once I ran it, the generator could not keep up and shut down. After using a wattage calculator, it seems once I got to 4000 running watts, it gave up and shut down. I am guessing I need better NG flow. Not an expense I was expecting.
@@toror212000 see that's the issue with the NG generators. And when you contact the company they usually cant tell you how much pressure you actually need. With propane I think its between 9 and 11 inches ... but I have no idea how much NG you would need. I've seen videos where people use larger and more expensive NG supply lines... sometimes they work, sometimes the do not. I've see where people had to have their meters changed ... to increase service... but I've also see where people changed their Meters and the gas main didnt even have enough pressure to supply the load. If your able to get the exact amount needed from the company... a plumber can test your supply... also... remember... if you have an 8000 watt generator that's only 4000 a leg... you gotta split and balance the load ... if you put 5000 on one leg the generator will not be able to handle it... good luck and again... thanks for the video... it was very good...
PT, Thanks for that info. I just got this one as well and likely need to do the same test. I have a split directly off of my meter but 8 haven’t tried it under load. That being said I have a couple of propane tanks and can get another 30 or 40 pound tank (for some reason Firman says only use 20 or 30 lb tanks). Worst case it’s still better than using gas and gunking up the carb.
@@jaorme you can use ANY size propane tank you like... you just ha e to ha e it regulated properly. If you have an extremely large propane tank your supplier can help you with that. I have a 100 gallon (420 pound) tank and twenty 20 pound tanks... when I go to the landfill... when nobody is looking... I toss 5 or so tanks in my truck that people have thrown away and exchange them... or I buy them cheap on the internet. A 7000 watt generator will use about 3/4 of a gallon per hour under normal use. So a 20 pound tank will only last 4 to 6 hours... and that means you need 4 tanks a day if you run it 24 hours straight...
these are a great and affordable option depending on your needs and budget but there are a lot of trade off compared to an emergency standby generator.
I had a virtual consultation with generac yesterday .. Almost 12k for a 18kw .. I was almost sold but looking through and seeing all these videos and stuff these generacs failing ..having to have workers come by all the time and fix them .. I’d be pretty pissed off if after paying $12k the generator not work for me when I need it ! I know everything has a chance of failing at some point but a 2k let down is easier to swallow than 10k .. little 1-2 hour outages I’m not worried about .. I’m more concerned about the grid going down again like it did here in Houston a few months ago

@@EnthusiastsGarage nice! How long do you anticipate it lasting? And what’s the warranty like ? I see generac has upped their warranty from 5years to 7years.
THD is 11-14%. I have the T08071 version and battery backups will sometimes switch to battery since power is not clean. At least it will maybe stay on AC power long enough to charge it? But besides that, I still like it. I was able to start and use a whole house AC unit 1 at a time but I did install a hard start kit to help the generator.
Thanks for that info. 11-14% THD is not safe for anything with the electronic components making it pretty much useless as a whole house power backup. If something is too good to be true it most likely is. I would gladly pay few hundred more if it had a better alternator.
@@michalp2362 finally someone else worries/knowledgeable w.e about THD. I have very expensive computers and I'm deciding between this and champion tri fuel 14-20% THD. Awesome review thank you very much for the natural gas review since I am also looking for an alternative to a Generac. And I think I’ve settled on this one. 🍻
I spent half a day trying to get this generator start light to come on and get the engine to turn over. I checked the battery, read the 3 different directions that came with the product, tested the battery (13.4V). I gave up and went to bed. The next day as I was reconnecting the battery that I pulled and put on my tester, I noticed the M/F connector that was zip tied together, (just to the left of the battery cables). WTF! Nothing in each of the 3 sets of directions instructed the user to 1. 'cut the zip tie, connect the M/F plug next to the battery. START WITH THAT! I wonder how many had that same issue.
Can u do a video with generator after switch box is installed? Thinking about doing the same but id like it to power a chest freezer and outlet for a air conditioner/ small heater incase of emergency.

Just purchased the T08072 tri fuel Firman, same Amazon 1/2" 24' hose, quick dis connect , won't fire up. Checked and double checked everything, no leaks, both dials set to NG. Small item in the manual, prob doesn't mean anything ,for NG, it says if starting electric skip to #13, which says move the choke to the run position, however in Raul's video he starts it on choke and it fired ok.Any suggestions appreciated...note; I have a quick disconnect on both ends of the hose, (actually the first one is on the source)...should I try connecting the hose directly into the generator minus the hose quick connect? I can't imagine what difference that would make.
Thanks for posting. I just bought this model at Costco. What are the specs on the long gas hose you bought on Amazon? I need to hook this up to my gas line as well
Never tested the pressure to be honest. Just read that the shorter the hose connected to the gas line, the better pressure. After I switched, it didn’t lag after testing.
I installed a “Maxitrol 325-3L-1/2 1/2" Line Regulator, Aluminum, 2 psi Inlet Pressure regulator” for natural gas and the generator started no problems.
I recently purchased this same generator and no issues with propane but not working on NG. If you move the front dial to LG\NG do you get a strong smell of gas before trying to power on? I'm not sure if the pressure coming from my line with upgraded meter is too much or if there is something wrong with the one I purchased. Thank you advance
@@toror212000 Yeah, but the gas is coming from the generator not the connection and only happens when I turn the front dial to propane\NG. Behind that front connector cover where gas connects there is a metal regular looking part with holes and gas is coming from that. Hey Raul, just set mine up today. Got it going with gas, pull start but electric start won’t fire it up. It sounds like it’s turning over but won’t catch. Any suggestions?
If your using regular gas you have to choke it to start, then pit choke half way for a moment or to then open choke all the way. On propane the choke should be wide open to start, most propane generators have a gas prime button.
I have a question hopefully someone can help I have the tri fuel bought over a year ago from Costco I only used the gasoline one But now the generator is boging down and dying under a load so I tried the propane part it ran Long enough to Brew coffee then boged down and died Filters clean sparkplug good I live off-grid so its used every other day for 3 hours the rest of my power is solar . Any help would be greatly appreciated Marie
How many tons is your ac and did you have to add a soft start to the ac ? thats amazing you can run your ac unit and 2 fridges off natural gas with this generator.
I have a 3 ton central AC unit, I had him install a hard start kit. It starts right up. It wouldn't start my old system. But it was very old. I had this one installed about one month ago. All my stuff in my house is gas, my old one was very old. Remember you never have everything in your house on at the same time. It runs everything in my house.
Truth be told. I returned the 24ft hose and bought a 10footer instead. Apparently you lose gas pressure the longer the line and the generator couldn’t keep up when I was testing the limit. Once I received the 10footer, I was able to connect more appliances and it did a better job of running. Search this on Amazon: GasSaf 24 Feet 1/2" ID Natural Gas Hose with Quick Connect/Disconnect Hose Assembly with 3/8" Female Flare by 1/2" Male Flare Adapter for NG/LPG Appliance
Since this one comes with a battery to use electric start. You would want to have a trickle charger on it to keep the battery conditioned. These things can sit for a long time without a start as long as you take care of them after use. Ex: flushing out or conditioning the gasoline, cleaning the carb, etc. since I am using Natural Gas feature, it should be less maintenance........fingers crossed. Either way. I would still start it every few months to make sure.
@@toror212000 Yeah. Keep a 13.2 vdc trickle charger on the battery. You should also run the engine once a yr for 30 minutes (if you run only natural gas--more frequently if you use petrol) to ensure it is working properly. I also would not keep any gasoline in the system until you need it. Gasoline gums up over time--even when you use fuel stabilizer in it.
@@ab_ab_c I start and run my Firman tri fuel generator on natural gas, about once a month, run it about 20 minutes or so each time, that way if I need it I know it will start and work.
I have the exact same setup as you, 24' foot hose from amazon too. Did you find that the brass adapter from the hose to the generator inlet didn't really tighten up? You just spin it on and you can really can't crank down on it too much. I feel like it would not seal that great. Any issues there, with yours?
@@toror212000 Thanks for your reply! Yeah seems like a design flaw. I ended up removing the brass inlet that goes into the generator's regulator. I'm going to try and find one at Ace hardware that is the proper size for the NG line so I won't have to use the adapter. If I find one, I'll send you the link. Take care! :)
Wes Boland Hi Wes.. Did you find the right size adapter for NG connection. Also could you please let me know which 24’ hose did you buy from Amazon? Thnx
@@toror212000 hate ro be a busy body... but if your connections are NPT flair fittings your not supposed to use tape... you can use the liquid sealer... and if you use the tape it has to be the yellow stuff made for gas. The white teflon tape deteriorates and gets into the system and clogs the diaphragm...
Use plumbing tape around the area you screw the line into. Then I would spray area with soapy water to see you you have a leak. Obviously you would smell it as well. Also, I did move from choke to run while I was pressing the start button. Give that a shot a couple times.
Raul Toro if you’re using a direct flared fitting you actually don’t want to use gas tape. just tighten by hand and give it a 1/4 with a wrench. using gas tape could actually be causing the leak. if your having to reduce or expand the size of the fitting then tape is appropriate but for a regular flared quick connect hose do not use any gas tape.
Smart choice! It won't provide as much power as a whole home standby generator, but it will definitely get you through a power outage! You can do your own wiring to your power panel, you just have to remember to switch off your main power switch to isolate your home from the public grid before you power up your generator to provide power to your whole house. Just looked at the user manual. It uses 101 cubic feet of natural gas at 100% load--which only gives you 5.5 kW on natural gas. That means the energy efficiency of that generator is ~18%--which is rather poor. Here's the math: 101 ft³ * 1037 BTUs/ft³ = 104737 BTU/h (this is the energy content in BTU/s of the natural gas burned) 104737 BTU/h * kWh/3412 Btus/h = ~30.7 kWh (this is the energy content in kWhs of the natural gas burned) 5.5 kWh / 30.7 kWh = ~0.179 (this means the generator is ~18% efficient at converting natural gas to electricity--which isn't that good. A good diesel genset has an efficiency of 40% to 50%).
@@c.juneau410 The 50 amp 14-50R would be better. I'm choosing to connect with the 30 amp L14-30R/P connector because they are way more common (30 amp generators are way more common), and I can step down to a 120v L5-30P connector with less adapters. I'm not going with this generator though because the THD is too high (over 10%).

You'd think that a reviewer would show what it can run. But all you did was to turn it on. How about throwing in all switches to the house and tell us how many things it runs? How about turn on an AC to see if it runs it? This review was piss poor.
Raul, very useful. What size hose is it? 3/8" 1/2" or 3/4". i just bought one and need about 35ft hose, i am worried i wont get the flow down that length. The handbook says we need 101 cubic feet/hr natural gas, i think i need 3/4" to get sufficient flow down that length.

what size gas line line are you using to feed it? can you run the bbq at the same time?
@@dakotamar45acp I have a 3/4 inch black pipe. Yes my meter can handle 250 CFH. The pipe downsizes to 1/2 inch to the grill.

I bought one same model at Costco last week for $699. FYI
Did you purchase the 1/2” gas line?
I'm definitely looking at getting one for the house. Just lost power for 9 days. Never again.

How good this thing handles AC windows units at the same time?
Cool video. Thanks for sharing! Too bad this model isn't available still at Costco.

Dude... Nice pool!
Raul Toro what size meter do you have?
This helped me out so much thank you.
these are a great and affordable option depending on your needs and budget but there are a lot of trade off compared to an emergency standby generator.

You shouldn't have to use your choke when running LP/NG. That's for starting it on gasoline only.
"Jim" Read Read the owners manual. I thought the same with my TRI- fuel.

I can't imagine what difference that would make.
Thanks for posting...I own the same one. Question: Did you purchase a "low pressure" natural gas hose from Amazon? Thanks!
I paid $800 at Costco as they just marked it down. I have the same exact plan with the same exact money saving reason. Considering buying another.
Thanks for posting. I just bought this model at Costco. What are the specs on the long gas hose you bought on Amazon? I need to hook this up to my gas line as well
What is the natural gas pressure into the generator? I have 2 psi and need to regulate it down.
2 psi is an optional higher pressure, normally it is less than 1/2 psi.
So no issues with a 1/2" NG hose? I see the price really jumps to a 3/4". I'm considering buying a 12' 1/2" and adding a QC from my BBQ.
Sounds like you are leaking NG and lack of pressure may be the issue. Try using yellow plumbers tape around the male connection. Then re-secure it.
@@toror212000 Yeah, but the gas is coming from the generator not the connection and only happens when I turn the front dial to propane\NG. Behind that front connector cover where gas connects there is a metal regular looking part with holes and gas is coming from that.
With the dial on off there is no smell so I'm thinking pressure to the connectors and line are in tact.
I reached out to customer support and might call to see what they say tomorrow too.
@@toror212000 turned out to be too much pressure so plumber came out and moved my existing 6-16wc regulator to before the T split instead. Worked like a charm although it turned on only when set to Run not Choke. But it worked each time I powered it back on so I'm happy! Thank you!

Did you move the choke back and forth while pressing the start button? Try that.
If your using regular gas you have to choke it to start, then pit choke half way for a moment or to then open choke all the way. On propane the choke should be wide open to start, most propane generators have a gas prime button.

I've never owned a generator but am looking at buying this one. How long have you ever let them sit without starting it up?

Not very loud, was is the DB sound?
Didn’t measure the DB level. Definitely louder than my old Champion 4000 generator. Hope that helps.
My generator doesn't turn red light so I can turn on with the switch, can someone tell me how to do it. Tanks
Check your battery and battery connection.
I'm haviing the same issue. Were you able to get the battery working?
Yes the cable's was disconnected, so probably you should check that .
I fight and fight to start mine on natural gas. I even purge the line before connecting.
That thing is LOUD. I'm looking for something that can take BIOGAS that can be used all the time.
in Florida it sells for $499.00
Smart choice!
Here's the math:
101 ft³ * 1037 BTUs/ft³ = 104737 BTU/h (this is the energy content in BTU/s of the natural gas burned)
104737 BTU/h * kWh/3412 Btus/h = ~30.7 kWh (this is the energy content in kWhs of the natural gas burned)
5.5 kWh / 30.7 kWh = ~0.179 (this means the generator is ~18% efficient at converting natural gas to electricity--which isn't that good. A good diesel genset has an efficiency of 40% to 50%).

On sale tomorrow for $699
Does or has anyone hooked this Generator to run their whole house?? How??
L14-30P connector through a 8/3 cord into a SS2-50R plug into a SS2-50P inlet into 6/3 wiring into a 50 amp breaker with interlock on the panel.
Wound I he plugging this into the 50amp plug in on my Generator or the 30amp??
@@c.juneau410 The 50 amp 14-50R would be better. I'm choosing to connect with the 30 amp L14-30R/P connector because they are way more common (30 amp generators are way more common), and I can step down to a 120v L5-30P connector with less adapters. I'm not going with this generator though because the THD is too high (over 10%).
I paid $2000 for my generator and the install of a 50amp switch, this is the total for both
Is the 24' gas line hookup coming out of the generator 3/8 or 1/2? Do you have a link for it on amazon?
I believe the gas line is 3/8 coming out of the generator and his house has the 1/2 inch quick connect. Depends on your home.
Just bought it at Costco :)
My man, Is that an hour meter? ... 4:38 (Can't see it all that clear....)
Volts, hertz(I think) and hour. 3 presses toggles through
I live in Southwest Louisiana hurricane Laura came through I Purchased A generator just like this one. It ran for a week and a half I only use it at night it has 200 hours on it. The motor is searching the RPMs are not staying steady so the voltage is not staying steady. I cannot contact this company I have tried every way that I know how to try to get someone to help me with this generator. It does this RPM variation on gasoline and on propane. Anybody got a clue what the problem is since the company won’t help me.Do you have going on three weeks with no electricity here
So sorry to here that. Hope you found a solution or got help. I wouldn’t know how to help in this case. Hopefully someone else can chime in.
Take it back where you got it from.....its still under warranty
Rocky Stellone I did and got a replacement. It was a drive to get to closest store open. Good news is power restored, working on getting cleaned up and repaired. Thanks for your input.

I'm going to buy this, not sure of the firman brand , hopefully won't be a lemon generator
Look up the parent company of Firman. Sinomach. Firman uses Kohler engines as well. A worldwide trusted name. That’s why I went for it. Thanks for posting.
@@toror212000 where do I buy parts for this generator? The T08071 tri fuel. I seen people say issues with micro switch and stuff,
@@Poolshockguy I would call Firman directly for local suggestions
I will like to kwon if the generator work only with gasolina and not with gasoline and gas at the same time. Is individual only one think at the time. Please like me kwon God bless
Has it broken yet?
look at that bumble bee! lol
Noisy!
Just have my at Costco for $700

You will be booted out of the naber hood .. Loud

Cheap plastic swiitches that break and fail, used mine 6 times over the last 3 years...junk big fail Ferman!
You'd think that a reviewer would show what it can run. But all you did was to turn it on. How about throwing in all switches to the house and tell us how many things it runs? How about turn on an AC to see if it runs it? This review was piss poor.
He did not have the generator interconnect installed. Only then would he be able to plug into home.
Do your own research Boris.
Go big, remember a lot is good, more is better, too much is just right. Thats a long way to go Natural gas is very low pressure, so you need volume.
