Thanks for watching!
🚉
As a fun fact, the third track was supposed to be for a circular line during Ceausescu's regime but never materialized. It's kinda like Alexanderplatz, Jungfernheide and Schlossstraße in Berlin.
the third track was also a stop for the metro's since for some time the line ended there. Now it is used as a parking spot
Cologne wolffsohnstraße pls
Be careful at the name, nowadays is Crângași, the station signs are outdated :))
Greetings from Bucharest
Thank you! I had noticed that Crângași is the name on the metro map, but I thought the station signs couldn't possibly be wrong... 😀
Do you know why or when the name has been changed?
The station signs are wrong :))
The Romanian Academy changed in 1993 the spelling from î to â, so the words are written different now and the station signs were placed in 1984 when the station was opened😄
Thanks again, I have changed the video description now!
So even after 30 years they still haven't changed the station signs, unbelievable... 😲🤭
You're welcome!
The station needs maintenance as soon as possible😬
Beautiful but no elevators for disabled and lack of escalators.
It does have two elevators, one from the outside to the vestibule and another one to the platform. They were added in 2011 IIRC during Metrorex's project of making the vast majority of stations accessible for wheelchair users.
