WILL YOU JOIN THE CULT OF EC3? NWA DID IT AGAIN!

- NWA Samhain was the most contrevserial PPV of 2023. It was ruled so bad that they lost an a potential TV deal with the CW Network. Since then Ec3 has lost the NWA World Title and NWA is no longer with the CW app. Throughout December the NWA has been streaming NWA Samhain 2. Yes somehow this PPV got a second show. But this time they cut it up into episodes of NWA Power to save money.
It’s whacky and weird with an ecliptic cast of characters. There is also a new storyline for Ec3 and a gimmick, his dreams are coming true as he is now rubbing a cult!

when i saw that swanton bomb at 6:13 I knew immediately that Jeff Hardy was going to complain. that clip always get me haha
In my personal head canon, wrestlers do this on purpose and watch the show so The Hawk can put it in his video 😂
Yo Hawk, had a pretty shitty morning. I can physically feel this video making me happier and lowering my anger levels. Thank you for everything you do
Thanks brother hope your day improves
@@Markyd123WWE and TNA Wrestling signed a multi-year partnership with each other, so WWE wrestlers can show up in TNA Wrestling and TNA wrestlers can show up in WWE. The multi-year partnership was finalized on January 14th and announced on January 16th.
The problem with EC3 is, he constantly changes his gimmick but looks the same and has the same ring moves.
Well, he does seem to be looking more brown every time I see him... but instead of looking tanned, it just appears to be some kind of weird skin condition.
(Could just be the cameras and lighting I guess)
I hate that EC3 let MJF just walk off with his gimmick. He use to be my favorite wrestler and is now Jake Robert's lite.
The problem with EC3 is he's not actually good at anything. He uses big words to sound smart but misuses them, and despite trying to come across as some elegant speaker he trips over his lack of charisma.
This. He'll never be believable. Should stick to what made him seem good in the first place. That entitled spoilt nephew.

Is there any wrestler who has backflip in their name ?
Flip Gordon is dumping in his nappy of anger.
What even happened to Flip Gordon?
@@beingraven I've been told he leaned super hard into the conspiracy character in 2020-21 and got legit heat with both fans and other wrestlers, but I find absolutely nothing of substance to suggest that he actually got heat. He's been working CMLL nonstop for the past two years or so, and it seems this schedule of almost entirely shows in Mexico lines up with him getting married & having a kid.
Looks like the reality is just that the dude settled down where he could wrestle for a living without being too far away from home.
This Stone Brockwell guy... I love love LOVE this gimmick. I cannot believe an Indiana Jones-esque pulp hero adventurer gimmick has never been done on a big stage before. Amazing. All the stars.
It still isn't on a big stage, so there's still a chance.
EC3 took some advice from Jim Heard and now he is Spartacus lol somewhere The Nature Boy is having a martini and a laugh 😮Woo!
If Ric Flair have another last match event. He should bring EC3 to the event 😄 and dressed as Spartacus together.
Better late than never.
How many gimmicks do you want?
EC3: Yes
I just don't know what the NWA wants to be. For a long time their identity was to be an old school wrestling company, which I was cool with. But now they have some of the most confusing, outlandish characters and stories. I don't know where they fit into the modern wrestling landscape anymore...
I think they don't know what they want to be.
whatever makes them money is what they will be
Was thinking the same. Majority of the talent seem out of place for NWA but with WWE, AEW and TNA having secured the best technical guys, NWA had to scrape the barrel.
It feels kinda like things like Glenn Jacobs being the Christmas Creature, but instead of being random and out-of-place for the southern rasslin' style of Memphis for one night or even one segment, a ton of the show feels random and out of place.

The reason why there were so few people in attendance was that this event was actually sceduled to take place in the Robarts Arena in Sarasota, FL. However, the building got damaged by a hurricane and they had to find and replacement very quick. WEDU Studios (where the Powerrrstation is located) was free so they went there. Also, Rest in Peace to Jax Dane, May he rest peacefully in heaven

the alternate reality where NWA's CW deal didn't get bungled and they ended up on TV instead of NXT.
Even if the NWA gets on TV, the show will probably be on at midnight or something while NXT gets primetime. The product isn't good enough to warrant a primetime slot. NWA was probably destined for the app. Hell, Billy's reality TV show went straight to the app.
It's really nice seeing all these "RIP Jax Dane" comments, I didn't think people knew or cared about him
This event happened a few miles from where I live. They held it in the WEDU PBS studio, the same studio our local PBS station hold their beg-a-thons in.

Haley Jane was a big part of the Netflix show about OVW. She was definitely the breakout star of the show and I’m surprised that she hasn’t made her way into the big 2.
Maybe cause in the OVW Doc it showed her to be a trainwreck. Why would AEW or WWE hire her?

@@hafizsyednomanali6868 Thom Latimer.
@@LightspeedsI actually don't mind the change, especially since Thom's got a body/look that definitely screams 1980s.

EC3's CYN is still around it's just a pro-wrestling training school in his home city his pro-wrestling promotion is now called Exodus Pro Wrestling. Billy Corgan's idea is to bring back the territory system of pro-wrestling with NWA being an indie wrestler's first stop towards one of the bigger wrestling companies either WWE, AEW, or TNA. Though if that is successful then I don't know what's next
It's quite impressive how EC3 has managed to stay around for so long and never actually be good.😊
Truth
Joe Cazana is the name of the old man who was dressed up looking like a hillbilly he is a Former professional wrestler for Jim Crockett Promotions, NWA, WCW, WWF, AWA, most of the territories & Smoky Mountain he is the current owner of NWA/JCP Southeast. an one of the guys named AJ Cazana is his grandson who is a member of this stable
EC3's problem is that MJF came-along and was basically EC3 2.0. When WWE dropped the ball on EC3 again he found his niche occupied and had to change things up but has never been able to come-up with anything as good as his original gimmick.
Man it's such a shame how much NWA has been ran into the ground, when Power started on YT it was so unique with the studio and old feel. Also the roster they had was good. Like 75% of them are now in WWE/AEW//TNA. They had decent wee stories and not too many titles. It's been a shame to watch the decline over the last 5 years.
That’s the bad thing about having a small promotion in the land of WWE and AEW. Anyone with a modicum of talent is in danger of getting called up. The NWA can’t afford to pay them what they would get from the big boys. Add that to poor booking and it’s surprising that they can keep the lights on, probably running completely off of BC’s pumpkin money.
Those original, early episodes of NWA Power that you’re talking about all aired in 2019. AEW had just launched as a company and WWE was still crapping the bed with terrible storylines. Roman Reigns was getting dog food dumped on his head by Baron Corbin. But as AEW was picking up steam in 2019/early 2020, WWE was changing up their creative direction again. Then the pandemic happened and changed the whole wrestling industry. WWE came out the other side with all the momentum. Tony Khan opened up his checkbook even more. And NWA simply never recovered. NWA started off in the perfect position in 2019, but once WWE took itself seriously again, and AEW decided to spend even more money, it was simply game over for Billy Corgan’s promotion.
@@jaystreet46to be fair, AEW is running entirely off of Shad Khan’s money.

Jack Cartwheel is actually part of WWE's Idenpendent Developemental programme, where they allow him to get training from WWE associated wrestling schools like Booker T's, Seth Rollins' and Cody Rhodes' schools and the Performance Center. However, what wonders me is that they told him to change his name to Jack Cartwright but he still wrestled here as Cartwheel.....
It might just be for those promotions or shows and will only be full time if they call him up.
@@Braeden-nk9ojthis show was filmed prior to him being signed to an ID deal
Although where did this Cartwright thing come from? I can't find any reference to it anywhere, he hasn't wrestled a match under the name since before he took on the Cartwheel name and I can't see why WWE would make him use a name they don't own the rights to (as it's his own creation) and that might cause confusion within TKO as there's an MMA fighter who's fought for UFC with the same name and at only 29 he still has a high likelihood of fighting in the UFC again.

Dang i always enjoyed watching Jax Dane. He played a great monster back in the day when he was NWA Champ. I was there that night when he lost to Tim Storm. Crazy Tim is still wrestling nearly a decade later.
Billy Corgan has the same issue Tony Khan has. Both had great ideas at the beginning of their booking reign, but they clearly have ran out of ideas.
Both should find a booker to be their partner so that booker can guide them into the correct path. Tony should have one soon with Bryan Danielson being rumored to be a booker for ROH and Collision, but Billy Corgan needs someone desperately to stop him from making more 80s shenanigans
EC3s cult looks a lot like the dark order from this video
The main issue is that AEW has two things NWA doesn't; unlimited money and a solid media deal. Social media lives off short attention spans and is terrible for anything over a couple minutes long, and Corgan can't keep throwing money at the problem like Tony can because what little money he does have coming in is probably just barely enough to keep the lights on.
I think what NWA needs more than a good booker right now is some gullible cryptobro willing to sink his Bitcoin billions into the show, at least long enough to allow them to grow out of the "public access cable" production phase.
@@NorthStarBlue1you’re not wrong except for maybe the depth of BC coffers. Depends on how responsible he was with his pumpkin money. He def doesn’t have Kahn money but their overhead is probably not that high.
@@jaystreet46 Corgan might have enough personal money to keep NWA afloat as-is, but if they can't even fill a tiny studio with two or three rows of seating then clearly there's not enough to expand the company like it needs. That includes hiring a decent booker too.

EC3 was kind of doomed as a wrestler the second he left TNA and kept the EC3 name. Like, okay, you think you're going to make it in WWE with a name that relates you to the competition? But beyond that, why would you want to keep a name that makes people think of one of the worst figures in wrestling? No one looks back at Dixie's TNA with fondness.
