Respect bro not a single flinch on your face i just finished this (Took around 1-1.5 hours) and every aspect of my face hurts, my throat hurts from screaming.. everything hurts....
The anger this shit gave me and I didn't realize this was all for a sword I can't even use the rage was so insane I'm genuinely surprised I didn't break anything besides braincells
This was pretty dam awesome man awesome job, looking like it was hurting ya some there, lucky found me a nice glitch to help me thru it, no way I can normally
Me too, just made it, that was a nightmare, I'm surprised my controller is still in one piece. Time to rebalance those stats so I can try the reward out. 😅
That is the Hover ability, which is unlocked upon defeating a boss in the Childbed. (The one whose initials are S.V.). It's an ability you will need to complete the Abandoned Opus, I don't think it's possible without it.
@@Dan_TheGamerManOn anything with a yellow glow, just use pull. Even on this yellow stone, which has breath in it. You don't need jump to this and using weapon
Yeah…I was considering g attempting this but after seeing how ridiculous it is I’ll save myself the waste of time. This game really isn’t worth the pain.
He does a dash, then a double jump and then another dash because aa soon as you leave a platform you're allowed to do another dash in the air. Then he hooked onto the yellow light.

@@agentN107 It's just as bli2z4rd says, if you dash off of a platform instead of jumping off it, you can do a second dash before touching the ground. Even if you can't visually see the yellow lamp on your screen, as long as you're close enough to it you can pull it. I'm glad you were able to find a method that worked for you though :)
@@Dan_TheGamerMan it was strange I was just undershot that it was just not registering the grab. I think I just could not figure out the exact timing on the double jump to get the right air to reach the light
the jar man always says that i'm to slow even if I do the first section perfectly. does he give any toher reward after the sword? Also, there are 3 jarmans that you can absorb, but where? there is just one
The jarman in the middle is just there to mock you. There are no other rewards I am aware of besides the Coda Scythesword. As for the other jarheads to be absorbed, there are a few hidden throughout the game world. I believe there is one near the Weeping Cavity in the bottom-right, and some in Lithic at the top-right. They tend to be in hidden locations.
@@maruchi1535 I'm glad that worked out for you. But if you dash while you're on the ground or a ladder (without jumping off first), you will still be able to perform a mid-air dash.
Are you sure that you're not dashing higher up around the pull at 10:33? You have to conserve your dash for the white barrier at the bottom. But if you're getting there and you still have your dash, then you've probably got a bug on your hands. There's a GRIME Discord server (discord.gg/fa5zxaRR) that the developers are pretty active on, with a channel where you can submit bugs. They'll probably want a video of the behavior so they can investigate.
@@samgray4566 I would say so, yeah. Celeste does have some handicaps you can activate, but if you don't use them the Celeste C-sides and chapter 9 are both harder in my opinion.

oh, so those door-with-face sections are done with the sprint :o no wonder i was having so much trouble to pass them with the floating instead Dx
That also took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize...

TY, video helped me a lot!
So stoic! I'll yell and cry when I'll try it, I'm sure. I will only rush to the beacon to platinum the base game... no way I can do it.

At 1:36 in the video you slow descend down, how do you do that? Have been trying and can't get it. Is there a special ability?
