It is required by French law to have the hallmark stamped on fine jewelry made from minimum gold purity from 18k onwards. The small markings you referred to are called hallmarks. It is common to use symbols. Different countries have different regulations on hallmarks & markings. And Italy being the strictest would also have additional rules whereby apart from the gold purity, you would be able to identify the area/province/town that piece is manufactured from. Hope that helps.
@@LulaWestLuxe Any time 🙏🏼🙌🏼 I will say that when I first learned about these things, it was such an eye opener. Makes me take a second look whenever I see vintage jewelry!! Like I would say, omg this piece was made in France!!!! 🇫🇷 It’s so interesting ♥️💎🙌🏼🙏🏼🥰 Congrats on your blossom ring, it’s so beautiful
Thanks so much for letting me know! I don’t often hear about LV jewelry either, but they have some beautiful collections. I’ll try to cover it more in videos.
Happy Anniversary! This ring is beautiful! I think you picked the best size to go with everything. It makes a statement without being overwhelming. And for what you’re getting, I think it’s a good price. Wear it in good health. I loved the story about your mom’s ring, that’s so special. It’s gorgeous and so nice to have her with you. ❤
So far, so good! But I’ve only had it for 2 months. No issues with washing hands, if applying lotion I usually try to avoid direct contact with my rings.
Im surprised your SA didn’t tell you about the markings. Most jewelry i own from lv and Hermès have markings. It’s kinda how some bags have date codes.
No he hadn’t mentioned it! But now that I know, it makes sense. It reminds me of your Hermes tableware from a couple of years ago and you showed the artisan stamps on the bottom.
Congrats on your wedding anniversary. 🎉❤ You’ve chosen a beautiful piece. I also love this collection and got the same ring to pair with the rose gold Blossom open ring. They look stunning together.
So beautiful! Please be very careful as 18K is very soft compared with 10K or 14K. I had a Tacori wedding set that after several years of daily wear actually split and I had to replace my rings in 14K (not Tacori). Yes, they were real I got them at an authorized Tacori jeweler and took them in for regular cleanings, inspections, etc. I didn’t baby them. Not trying to be a negative Nancy but I just wish I had known before about 18K! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary! ❤🎉

Thanks Dani!! 🥰 I can def post an update on wear & tear!
thanks for this video. Hows the wear and tear from using it everyday? Im curious how it does with washing hands or daily moisture on the skin .

@@LulaWestLuxe yeah actually lots of other artisans put little symbols on their creations it might be a European thing I guess
