You've been Musked.
Totally agree Elon is controlling the reviewer market lol
@@marcusthorpe7688 💯
😂
Muskrat is a psychopath.
😂 that was funny!
Cancel your order. They don't want you to have one because you'll report on issues like you did with the Defender.
I suspect the delivery order is very fluid in reality.
I would agree with this take. If Andre was already saying how much he was annoyed with some of the features when he tried out Butter_EV's CT, guaranteed a full TFL test will end up with a very unkind result.
The publicity that you generate by complaining about the delivery is less damaging than you reporting that it is inferior to competitors like the Chevrolet truck. Cyber truck has great “weirdness factor“ but that does not replace the need for usability.
I can feel that they are adversarial to EV in general so, I wouldn't blame Tesla for not giving them preferential treatment.
@@travellover3373 - Tesla took the Cybertruck reservation money with a promise of delivery then failed to deliver or communicate any delivery change. This is not a situation of preferential treatment, it is a matter of poor management and marketing. As far as "adversarial" goes... this is their EV focused channel and I think they are far too accommodating of EVs and their limitations compared to ICE ubiquity and convenience.
Make lemonade out of the lemons you've been served. Just don't drink the Cybertruck Kool-aid.
Does this surprise anybody? Tesla is famous for over promising and under delivering.
All of EVs are like that
@@texandy89 tesla is way worse
@@texandy89 Not really, anyplace that rains a lot and has EV hating inbred hicks. I'll go borrow any AWD tesla. Kia EV GT or Ford Mach-E GT and go see how many muscle cars spin out.
Their complaint is everyone else got their trucks first, but Tesla delivered 4K CyberTrucks before the pedal recall that delayed deliveries. So they should keep their position in line despite their impatience.
@@texandy89 No. Hyundai, Kia, VW etc all are delivering.
Cyber truck is already getting boring anyway. Too many videos already. Get something else.
Dodged a bullet if you ask me.
I totally agree with you.
@@johnfbm Yep I know I did!
was at a cars and coffee saw 3 Cyber trucks and no one was even looking at them , same with the demon 170 the 15 min in the spot light is over
Video on its form and electronic. Not on its use as a truck e.g., towing, off-road, hauling, etc. vehicle. This is one of the rare channels that do that kind of testing
Id agree with not taking it because it’s been out in the hands of other people for a while now and there have been numerous testing videos already published. I’m not sure what, “saw it here first,” or new content you’d be able to make with it at this point and you’d definitely lose a lot of money selling it later.
They want it for the write off
@@damonderosa6420 Are you as dumb as your comment? I am a contractor. I don’t want write-offs. My preference is to maximize revenue and minimize expenses. A Cybertruck is just a massive over-priced depreciation misfit of a truck.
You are better off without the "truck". Next year, it will be $75k.
Next year the dual motors will probably be $45-$50k.
They review trucks. That would be a little hard to do without the truck.
@@krane15 On this channel, they review EVs.
@@krane15 there's no shortage of people offering up their cyber trucks for different reviews.
Let me see? Hmm? You buy a Model 3 then sell it for a huge loss one year later and you place the blame on Tesla about market conditions. Now you’re begging Tesla to sell you a high demand Cybertruck at an obviously inflated price with only 80% nitrogen in the tires and you don’t think Elon and friends can figure out what the review will be about, in one year from now?
Were you planning to take it to the Arctic circle and compare if it was an easier journey? Or were you going to take it up a trail and try to get it stuck on a rock?
F-150 Lightning went from “unobtainable and with markups” to “unwanted and marked down” in less than a year. My best guess is the CT will follow this exact pattern.
The difference is Ford doesn’t have fan Bois that follow them blindly and their dealers are the ones that made the Lightnings unwanted.
Tesla has plenty of fans with deep pockets that will buy this “truck”
The funny thing is the lightning is actually a good truck. If I could get one for the mid 20s I’d be in it tomorrow
what are you smoking? mid 20s you cannot get any new truck these days😅 @@mcnuggetapple
@@lrod8692 Ford didn't give it enough charge speed and should have started out with having a NACS adapter. If it could do 350kw on V3 or CCS charging I'd do a raptor suspension swap on it. Ford stealerships are the worst tho.
Comparing Ford to Tesla is like comparing WalMart store brand to Ralph Lauren or Kenneth Cole. Let’s be honest, the clientele are not the same…
🤔
By the time you guys got yours (if ever) it would be old news anyway.
Yeah, the hype will die down on this thing. It's only the wild looks that get people's attention. There's also a narrow population who would drive one, I don't want people taking pictures of my truck and staring at me everywhere I go, so I wouldn't want one anyways.
It's already old news. Although I love seeing Roman loose his ass on vehicles so im conflicted
Yeah they would have needed to place an earlier order. The hype has gone down.
Its a meme car. Once the meme wears out, then what. Youre stuck with a car that has not done any crash testing or health & safety regulations, because it wouldnt pass any of those. And it will drop in price like a stone.
Walk away. Stop giving them business
Wait its the best. I love my neighbors. What a blast ! Nothing else compares
I’m in the same boat. My expected delivery was January-March paid $1000 deposit ended up buying another vehicle and lost my deposit . This should be an illegal Practice .
Time for a class action law suit. Think of the money plus interest Tesla has made!
Lost your deposit? How? It should have been fully refunded. No delivery, no contract upheld, deposit back. It's that simple.
You should have been smarter. Now you are just a bit smarter.
@@n5sdm Hopefully, but I question the intelligence and wisdom of anyone who can't see through the smoke and mirrors foisted by the federal government, various state governments, and industry grifters.
Ultimately, the government push for EVs will prove to be a ruse for mass transit. Even the green activists who helped get the US EPA established don't hesitate acknowledge that EVs are the means to that dubious end.
I'm not sure if this applies. It's from the Cybertruck FAQ at Tesla's website:
«How do I cancel my Cybertruck reservation?
Until your Cybertruck is delivered, you may cancel your reservation at any time and receive a full refund of your pre-order payment. You will see your refund in the account used to place the order. To cancel your Cybertruck reservation, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your Tesla Account.
2. Select your Cybertruck order and tap ‘Manage.’
3. Tap ‘Request to Cancel.’
4. Select your reason for canceling the reservation.
5. Add additional feedback, then tap ‘Submit Cancellation.’
6. Tap ‘Yes, Cancel.’»
Either way, it's not right that they are keeping your deposit.
Look at the bright side, in a year or so you'll be able to buy back that foundation series for $39k
Foundation Series values are going to drop like a rock one the better high volume ones hit the streets. My friend lost $100K in 5 years on one of the first Model X's.
I was thinking the same thing
Just like Gibson guitars, all we have to do to improve corporate performance is talk with our wallets, but as long as folks don't, we're screwed....
Yo I got old and quit keeping up. what happened to Gibson
@@ROBinJVILLE I was just wondering the same. The last time I checked they were sticking plastic fingerboards on them due to a small "paperwork error" with their suppliers in South America.
@@davidbrayshaw3529 No, the richlite fingerboard was quite a few years ago and is no longer.
@@ROBinJVILLE Their quality control went down at the same time they were unable to source some of the nice woods for fingerboards. People lost their minds. As you'd know every guitar is different, you don't buy one off a website without playing it first.
The difference is, Gibson's return policy is 100% solid.
The strange thing is that I’ve seen more Cyber trucks than the Hummer EV on the road. I do live near Sacramento.
GM barely sold any vs 4k cyberturds.
Same boat here. I feel like John Candy in the movie summer rental when all the rich people are getting into the restaurant before me and they could care less about us.

I know someone in Canada that got their CT and they were 20,000 in line, meanwhile my 2,000 reservation two states over from Texas still doesn't have a vin
Yep referral points..what a kick in the gut.
I hold reservations for both CT & Silverado EV. I always said I’d buy the first one that was offered at a decent price.
The Silverado is looking pretty good about now and Ford Lightnings are in stock at a decent price. If I can charge at the superchargers, what’s the advantage of the CT?
@@brendykes1202 yep, yeah, absolutely
Haha no one in Canada has started “getting it”
@@cwang93 they had to drive to the states to pick it up, I think in Washington
Tesla should have prioritized the Model 2 rather than this vanity project. A $25K (okay, $30K) would really have made news.
Model3 was close to 25k new last year in California with tax rebates, might get there again if they change the batteries
so let';s see who makes more money: the company that produces pickup trucks or the company that produces econoboxes? Umm look at GM, Ford, Stellantis - where are all their little tiny cars now? Oh yeah they shifted it all into pickup trucks, and some SUVs. Tesla would be fools to throw their lot in with econoboxes while pickups generate huger profits for all the companies making them
@@planesandbikes7353 It's not car buyers, it's EV buyers. I don't think the EV pickup market is going to be that big - and Tesla gave away it's biggest advantage to Ford and soon RAM and GM (the SC network). Pickup buyers are traditional. An F150 or a CT given that either can use the SC network? The Tesla is far less useful as a truck. (BTW, I love my Model 3.)
@@TKevinBlanc I worked at Tesla HQ in FP&A for worldwide Sales and Demand in 2022. Their strategy is to try to capture as much of the "high-end" market share before building more affordable cars. They're not going to build a Model 2 when a good portion of those Model 2 buyers will spend the extra $10k to $20K for a Model 3. Once they feel they've plateaued with wealthier buyers due to them buying Tesla's or the competition, they'll move on to customers with a lower willingness-to-pay.
With the Federal tax credit I got my Model 3 for 30k last year. Even cheaper in states that have their own credit
Wait, the reservation is non-refundable. That sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen
It’s refundable.
@@rmoore07 they literally said it wasn't the $100 is but not the $1000 deposit
@@evo1video its refundable. Look at Teslas website
@@evo1video that's actually how Tesla makes a lot of the capital to produce the vehicles is by taking that money as a interest free loan, and even better, sometimes like in this case they don't even have to deliver a product for reservation so they're just collecting free funding.
I mean this isn’t anything new.
When I reserved my Bronco I had zero word and zero communication from Ford or my dealer.
I eventually gave up on getting the Bronco.
I ordered October of 2021 for a 2022 Bronco. I was told it was built in March but then no word at all.
Eventually my dealer called me in August of 2022 saying the Bronco was there.
By that time I already had a replacement vehicle so I gave up.
This goes beyond that. Tesla claimed 500 miles on a charge.... it does have that, they claimed $40K entry price, its 20K more, most of the features aren't enabled, the thing rusts, its dangerous, there's no self-driving, the glass isn't bullet proof, the laser windscreen wiper does not exist, the trunk removes your fingers, no locking diffs, and now global recall. Please, stop being a cuck.
Must be your dealer or you because I placed my order and could follow through the whole build process on line right up to the day and even time of delivery to the dealer.
My buddy reserved it on day one. he passed on founder's edition. fast forward, after all the reports of issues and lack of promised features... he has passed on it.
Cut your losses and forget that POs. I saw one charging here in Moab and gave it a walkaround. I got high school shop project vibes.
Anyone else seeing ads for Tesla now? For years, Tesla did no advertising as they did not need to. That they must now pay for ads, in addition to dropping prices, shows that demand is just no longer what it once was.
It was something that came up at one of their investor/shareholder meetings. A majority of shareholders voted that Tesla should start advertising as any other company does.
As unappealing as cybertruck is looking lately to me, do feel the need to say those two things are unrelated.
All auto demand/sales are down due to high interest rates and high auto prices, its not just a Tesla problem, at least Tesla can lower their prices and still make a profit. Most people are not up for having $1000+ car payments. Go look at truck sales in general, lots or stuffed full.
@@jstar1000Toyota sales are up…
Demand is a number. To some degree a car company can pull levers to increase or decrease it. What we are seeing is that production has grown above existing demand. That does not say anything about the numeric value of demand. It says production > demand. Production was .5 million in 2020 and 1.8 in 2023. Demand in 2024 is not keeping pace with the production levels tesla intends to make. Generally demand is still growing. Not as fast as expectations. I said Generally because we maybe seeing the Osborn effect in action. What you should say is "demand growth" is just no longer what it once was.
Media has millions of people thinking about this wrong.
@@jstar1000according to Elon , if it wasn’t for money from an outside source Tesla would be done , so I wouldn’t be too sure about Tesla making a profit.
And I suspect if it wasn’t for china , Tesla would be down the gurgler.
There can be only so many who want a triangle truck...and out of those people only a fraction will be able to afford $100k to buy one. You've got to imagine demand will dry up fast and they'll end production or scale it back.
Honestly more interested in hearing how the new 4Runner and Land Cruiser hold up to your tests.
Toyota is sweating over that . they already broke their Taco on camera🤣
Just cancel your order. I don't think any of us even want to watch videos on it. I saw one in Atlanta, and I thought - how boring. Get a 4Runner Hybrid and either GX or LandRover.
RAM TRX.
Probably the only reason they haven’t cancelled their order is the $20K non refundable deposit…💸💸💸
I don’t think Tesla wants to give them a truck anyway, I wouldn’t myself specially when they talked smack about the CT without even having it
Disagree, TFL should keep their order for CyberTruck:
FACT: The Tesla CyberTruck is still lacking on promises made on many significant levels.
THOUGHT:
Perhaps Tesla is fixing known deficiencies before delivery to higher profile customers such as TFL.
CONSEQUENCES:
As Tesla appears to be avoiding their customer’s human psyche on many levels, including organizational customer communication, may have significant negatively impacts on future Tesla sales, especially as competition increases.
CONCLUSION: As a journalist, the journey acquiring the vehicle is just as important as reviewing the vehicle as customer service is a top factor in deciding future purchases:
1. Process of Purchasing Experience
2. Ownership Experience
3. Resale Value / Experience
You should get one and show how much it sucks lol jk jk
Sounds a lot like the Bronco fiasco when it launched.
Bronco markups were so absurd 😅
If TFL was a tech channel, Tesla pumpers, or their road tests based on pointless drag races, not a surprise the channel would already have a Cybertruck in the fleet.
TFL look like Two Fat Losers really...
I’m a commercial truck driver and spend most of my time on I5 between Portland, OR and Roseburg, OR. I have seen 7 Cyber Trucks on car hauler’s heading north on I5 and seen 3 of them driving down the freeway. And they were all Texas and California plates
I hate to come to your page to say this but you guys are sounding like kids who've been defrauded by their hero yet they're too scared to call their hero a fraud lest their hero gets offended. This is a sad watch, honestly.
👏
I was thinking the same thing!
Tesla was actually dead on on what they offered you for model 3 if you sold it for 36. They make money on reselling. You know that's how that works.
I had a Cybertruck drive next to me while I was in my lifted and kitted out Rubicon and it looked so small. I think the company should put money on a 4runner Trailhunter and just keep it in the fleet for a bit. Not only is it cool, it will be a benchmark for a long time. Get a Rivian R2 maybe?
It’s a shame you couldn’t post a photo of your truck in your comment. TH-cam really needs a refresh to allow that.
I think Tesla is playing off a point you mentioned- you are long-term customers (or the company, that is). You've had delays before and are experiencing them again, and will again because Tesla knows you will be buying another one of their vehicles in the future. In your case your not so much fan boys, just journalists who want to be the first to review their new vehicles. Either way, you will be coming back to order another vehicle and thats what they care about.
Electric Jesus would be very upset if you were to show its shortcomings in such an obvious manner.
That name is deserving of a t-shirt and meme.
Space Karen is more apt.
Old news get a 4Runner instead
That's still 6+ months off - need something in-between for content
4Runner sucks in general. I've driven a few and was VERY underwhelmed.

Did they start delivering Non-Foundation Series models? Do we know what the number cap was on Foundation or the breakdown of Beast vs. non-Beast in the Foundation breakdown?
Tesla over promised and under delivered?? I’m shocked! Shocked I say!
It's pretty obvious that the Chevy Silverado EV is the real truck of the bunch. Get one of those and test it!
It does look good in theory, but in practice, GM has many "issues" with EV tech. Im guessing that they will iron them out eventually, but i sure don't want to buy a 1st generation model!
Good luck charging a 230 KWh battery. What no one talks about.
@@mshmusic It charges quite fast, up to 370kW have been seen at charging stations.
Who doesn't talk about the issues of charging? @@mshmusic
That all being said the Silverado looks amazing.
Walk a way.
I ordered Day one and was offered to pay the Foundation price in mid December! I'd probably have it by now, but no way am I going to extend myself to pay the extra $27,500! That's the Foundation price Plus the loss of the Federal Tax credit. I'm not sure the base extra $30,000 price increase is worth it even.
Here's what we did, wife had a 2012 Cube and wanted a small truck. We got a Maverick XL Hybrid for less that the Foundation upcharge, we average 45mpg just driving around Phoenix.
I still have my CyberTruck order, but at this point not sure I'll even get it when the non-foundation is available. I'm just soured on this whole fiasco when I see people that just ordered for the first time and with referral points jumped past what a million reservations?
Thank You for speaking up. As a fellow early reservation holder and long-time Tesla customer, I share in your deep disappointment with no communication & lack of
customer service.
I’m still waiting. I’m also very disappointed in the wheel cover miss. They made the truck look a lot better. The exposed wheels set the truck back a lot. It’s difficult to remain patient and we’re on the same page.
Vehicle Virgins & Adam Something each posted videos on the cybertruck. Both videos were each eye opening to say the least.
Not that it matters I said prior you should skip over the Cybertruck truck. Tesla is was amazing kicking off the EV revolution but they suck with customer service. The down side to no dealership for the 2nd most expensive item you can buy is not getting someone to give you a straight answer.

I’m in the same boat. Placed order on Jan 4th. It’s now been 100 days. It’s very frustrating when folks in California that ordered in March have already received their orders and we are still no word. I’m in Kentucky and been a huge Tesla promoter for years. It’s very disappointing to see loyal fans get placed on the back burner. Thanks for speaking up.
Was this a Kickstarter campaign?
Tesla and Musk doesn't want you guys to have a Cyber Truck because yall would be honest when reviewing it. You're dodging a bullet anyways. You wouldn't get crap for the CT when you decide to sell it.
I had the same experience on my first tesla the model 3 it was a terrible experience if they don't have it at the location the process is a black box.
My model 3 experience back in 2019 was awesome, I ordered it online and within 3 weeks took delivery. Totally painless, no haggling, great experience, best ever in fact.
I have one on order and I'm a little disappointed to find out it only has half a battery, no Auto steer no fsd, no parking sensors, no pass through for heating and air conditioning into the back where most people including myself want to put a tent or a structure to camp in, etc.
I ordered four years and 3 months ago, and as a lot of people have said it's going to be cheaper in a few years have a bigger battery and all the accessories it should have now.
I saw something that said Tesla is going to license their Auto steer and fds to other manufacturers, that would be great I would buy a rivian if it had the Tesla software but that will be 4 years from now.
Keep up the good work guys
I ordered the same truck and live in Alaska and I already got in February email to order my truck. I passed on the foundation series and kept my spot in line for non foundation series. You guys should just wait.
Tesla's customer service is the main thing that keeps me away.
Every time I take in my model 3 (only twice in two years) for service the process is so much better than a traditional dealer its not even funny.
Man I disagree. We have a model 3 and they break something new when we’ve brought it in both times.
On our 2nd new Telsa and both new purchase experiences have been total Nightmares. While we LOVE the vehicles, and not dealing with the traditional sales manager and finance manager game, the process of only being able to use an APP for all sales and delivery is a total joke! You get conflicting information and timelines that says you need to sign forms that clearly are incorrect and the when you need to call someone, you're on hold for hours and they still can correct the issue. I then have to go into the nearest store and even they can't fix what they admit is clearly wrong on the forms and say " just sign it", putting you on the hook for options or pricing that is clearly wrong. Elon can launch cars into space, but here on earth, he can't figure out how to do basic customer service, I suppose the reason is due to customer service not being "rocket science".
How much did you sell ineos for?
Remember me? My order that was offered to you back in December, has delivered the cyber beast on 3/31 to meet their q1 financial. It’s weird they don’t give you just awd still at this point
Congrats
I see them on car trailers in Texas all the time being shipped out west. They are just icing out Tubers that are not Monroe Live, MKBHD and other super fans.
You will be able to find one on the used market before long for less than 100k.
Get someone in Texas to give you their reservation like you did with the Bronco.
Thanks for posting this. This describes things to consider relative to the overall Tesla experience.
I say cancel your order, as I'm really not interested in watching more videos on this thing. You are correct, they are missing the mark on their commitments, especially range.
They more than missed the mark about its pricing too. It was originally supposed to debut at $40,000. As far as I’m concerned that price was a lie. Eventually, they had to tell the truth… $60,000.
I work across the street in Cleveland (Lyndhurst, technically) from the Tesla dealer. I walked over there two weeks ago at lunch and looked at the five Cybertrucks they have. All have the "Foundation" package, and all cost $101,000. They have only moved around the lot a bit, but none have seemed to sell. The dealer seems to do a pretty good business otherwise, but the Cybertruck may be dead on arrival. Or, maybe it's the "stop sale". I don't really care because I'm most interested in a used Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor. I'm waiting to buy after used EV prices crash further. Maybe late summer.
I used my AMEX card to pre-order and CyberTruck. I called AMEX last week and they did a chargeback. I called Tesla and cancelled the order and they said they refused to give me my money back. I told them AMEX did already, so I don't care.
Happy Thursday Everyone..One More Day to go .....
Your critiques of Tesla are reasonable. I would cancel too if I were in TFL’s shoes. Your business requires early receipt of new models. FWIW: Trash talking the CEO and the Cybertruck over the last 12-18 months has probably not helped TFL’s place in line. Would TFL get special treatment from Toyota, Ford, GM, Jeep, or Dodge if it publicly ridiculed these CEO and/or their new product. You guys have been doing this for a long time, and I am sure that TFL is aware of this dynamic.
You guys were too late to decide. Us in Canada, we don’t even expect before mid to end 2025
Just to rub salt in the wound, I saw a cyber truck rolling through Manhattan the second week of March
Get yourselves a Silverado, 460 miles.

You guys have cold, snow, and overall possible horrid weather, same as Hoovie. Elon doesn't want the CT exposed for its problems so they are avoiding resos in those areas. Cali, TX, FL are getting theirs. No wonder why
they wont sell to you because they know you would make videos on it
I feel your pain. Been there, done that. However, what I found most interesting in this video that I learned that Roman claims to be a "journalist." Curious on where you, Roman, received your journalist degree? If you don't have one, newsflash, your an "online content creator," not a journalist.
What about a Chevy Silverado EV rst.
The Price should be about the same.
you are wrong about one thing. Nobody is getting or has gotten a truck that is not a foundation series
Agreed nobody has got a non foundation
Kyle had to go to Florida to pick up his Cybertruck. Would love to see more on the Silverado EV.
These guys would pick up the truck anywhere. They regularly take deliveries in California and Houston Texas. Their Tacoma was delivered in a dealership in Houston.
He did that because of scheduling the coast to coast truck race, that was planned to do the CCS vs Supercharger race to Jacksonville, then pick up the Cybertruck, and drive it to California and then back to Colorado. He used referral points to take priority delivery, which could have been scheduled in Colorado if he wanted.
There have been a handful of Colorado deliveries. You guys (TFL) are just behind quite a few other people that placed their $1000 deposit before you.
At this point, there's not much content you can provide that would be worth your time, and you won't really get a return on the investment, so, cancel and let someone that actually wants the truck get it.
@@jcautodesign This exactly
You're not the only ones, Hoovie is also backing out of his order, since its now April and the only ones getting orders are people in Texas and California.
It's crazy cause it's the dealership here in Temecula that already has 2 of them on the lot for sale used.
Do they have cracked windshields? Costs $2300 to replace the Cybertruck windshield, and insurance is also high priced. Oh well, tough ArmorGlass would have been nice but didn't make it to production.
I withdrew our deposit a year ago. We went with a very low mileage FJ Cruiser.
You ended up with a great vehicle I think but these two are not something I would cross shop. 😃
@@is6566 Right!!! And here's the thing, I sincerely doubt that Tesla will reply to them. It just seems to be part of their corporate ethos now. Look at the top. 🤷🏽♂️
I want to tell you all a story about my model 3 I sold because Tesla actually refused to give me an update battery degradation percentage that I needed to determine if it met their threshold for replacement. It was previously at 16% degradation at about 60k miles at 3 years. Then 15k miles later it became unable to do a normal commute and they kept saying it passed the diagnostics 😂. Service experience is getting worse for our Model X so we’re just holding out until Rivian and others natively come with a NACS port.
The lack of communication from Tesla is maddening. Souring forums for information is frustrating.
Same boat as you. I’m in New Jersey. It’s the lack of information that annoys me. It’s really lowered my opinion of Tesla .
Honestly, it’s been too long on TH-cam to make any good views from it now… yall should drop it and use the money for something else instead
Sorry to hear a great content channel as yours is not getting the respectful support from Tesla on your Cybertruck delivery. That is very poor customer service. I am one of the early reservists of the Tri-Motor version. After I seen all that was removed from the original specs along with the price increase, I decided it wasn't worth it because with such the long wait for production and delivery the specs should have stayed the same. My plan was to trade my Model S for it. After all those reviews of the owners who do have one, I'm glad i decided not to get one. It's nowhere what it was at introduction. I agree with you both!!
It’s kinda amazing that in 2019 they had driving prototypes and 5 years later still haven’t sorted the software for wheel lockers. Geez.
Yesterday I saw a Convoy truck headed North just South of Portland, Oregon with a full load of Tesla trucks. That was a bit of a surprise to see.
I wouldn't get it! You'll lose so much money when it's time to get rid of it... Bad business decision
Buying cars are not a business decision 99% of cars lose money. It’s a depreciating asset, less than 1/10 of one percent of the time it’s not.
@@stewartciesla8142 Are you aware I'm referring to tfl... They don't keep the cars they buy for the channel. They make videos too make money then sell them after the hype dies down... Bad Business decision 🤦🏽♂️
This is the only tesla CT video I've watched, good move moving on. Will be interested to know if you ever get your $1100 back !
And now you have picked it up and they released tonight the update with the locking differential that you can start your offroad trials.
But I bet you will loose a lot of money for the expensive foundation with not much additional add ons.
Compare and Audi RS5 with a usual one and you see much more difference than what you get for 20.000 $ more.
Yeah. Communication is key. They have many ways to communicate and lack of dealership network is BS. We are in 2023 and Teslas are sold online. At this point and with their systems , they should be able to predict when you truck is being built as well the expected delivery date.
Elon is too busy on social media.
Thankfully. Opening up twitter and removing government censorship was one of the best things anyone could do.
@@aussie2uGA not really. You can go on truth social and say whatever you want. And like on all social media nobody will care because there’s 17k comments.
You’ll point out the shortcomings, particularly range and the fact that the lockers don’t work. They don’t want you taking it off road and it being an absolute embarrassment.
I've seen a couple in the Longmont area. Can't tell if it's the same one or not
Saw one in the wild in West Linn Oregon a few weeks ago. Honestly, with the intense sun in Colorado and that reflective exterior, it might blind someone here😅.
Yeah, you are not first to review the truck, BIG DEAL! ...life is not fair, get used to it :)
That’s not exactly what they are talking about. Tesla promised them to deliver a truck in higher trim first if they pay more. They accepted the offer with non refundable deposit and then Tesla went ahead and started delivering trucks in lower trim anyway to other people supposedly farther down the line.
@@is6566 All trucks that have ben delivered are the foundation series, which is the $20k markup. They just have to wait like everyone else, they were just hoping to get it earlier since they are youtubers but now are hurt.
@@jjkonkol9381They made a $1000 deposit and Tesla failed to deliver within the promised timeline. Stop defending bullshit customer service.
They mentioned in the video that people in Texas are getting NON Foundation series trucks. Did you watch it at all? 😃
@@is6566that's not true. Only Foundation Series is being delivered until 2025 at least.
You’re 100% right.
That great Ineos that you were going to keep for “over a year”? Is that the one you are taking about?
I reserved a Cybertruck 2 years ago (150$ Canadian). Since then, no communication or updates from Tesla. No email, text, call or a letter.
